In 1953, she became an auditor of NHK's Osaka Broadcasting Theater Company, appeared in the station's "Bonus", and has been active since the early days of television.
In 1960, she made her movie debut with "Mito Komon Tenka no Osodo".
In 1977, she took her first lead role in the 20th-anniversary stage play of Toho Gendai-geki "Yude Tamago".
On July 29, 2010, a relative discovered that she had collapsed in her bathroom and was found dead on July 27 due to heart failure. She died 80 years old.
Her last appearance as an actress was the stage play "Sanbaba" performed by the theater company Shinpa, which was performed at the Shinbashi Enbujo in December 2006. She hasn't been in the performing arts since then. Edit Biography
