After joining Shintoho Film Manufacturing Co., Ltd., he became an assistant director in "Tasogare Sakaba" (1955) directed by Uchida Tomu.
After the bankruptcy of Shintoho in 1961, he made his directorial debut with "Kyonetsu no Hate". Since 1964, he has directed many television films exclusively for international broadcasting. He became freelance in 1969.
Since the beginning of the 2000s, he has been directing stage plays.
He died on November 28, 2024, at the age of 92. Edit Biography
