Yoon Il Bong

He made his debut in 1947 as a child actor in the cultural film "Railroad Story" at the age of 13. The following year, he made his official commercial debut with a role in the movie "The Blue Hill". Then, in 1956, he made his stage debut with a role in the play "Swordsman Im Kkeok Jeong". He also served as the 11th President of the Korean Film Council.
During the late 1970s and 1980s, President Chun Doo Hwan implemented the "3S" policy to distract the public from political repression and human rights abuses by promoting and easing censorship guidelines regarding sex and screen (films/entertainment), and creating new sports leagues. As a result, he appeared regularly in erotic movies and was seen as one of the country's heartthrobs for several years.
On December 8, 2025, he passed peacefully due to natural causes at the age of 91.
