In 1914 (Taisho 3), he entered Fukushima Junior High School (currently Fukushima Prefectural Asaka High School ), but dropped out on July 3 of the same year to join Masao Inoue's troupe and took the first stage at Hongo-za. . Joined Shochiku Kamata Film Studio in 1922 (Taisho 11), under the name of Noboru Kunishima , July 1, 1923 (Taisho 12). He has appeared in the public movie " Water Algae Flower " directed by Yoshinobu Ikeda, as his debut. In 1924 (Taisho 13), he moved to Shochiku Kyoto Studio , and later changed his stage name to Soichi Kunijima, after appearing in the movie " Mura no Makiba " directed by Hiroshi Shimizu released on December 31. He eturned to Shochiku Kamata Studio again . In 1927 (Showa 2), he was promoted to an executive position , but he was born ill and soon left the company for medical treatment .
In 1930 (Showa 5), he returned to Kawai Film Production Co. , Ltd. and appeared in several works as a leading actor . In 1931 (Showa 6), he returned to Shochiku Kamata Photo Studio again after passing through Toa Kinema , which was released on June 10, 1932 (Showa 7). The movie " Lovers in the Beyond" directed by Heinosuke Gosho is the last appearance. Some materials, such as "The Complete Works of Japanese Movie Actors Actors" published on October 23, 1979, do not know where they are going after , but " Performance Pictorial " In the December issue of 1932 (Showa 7), it was reported that he died at the age of 32 on September 2, 1932 .
