In 1922, Nakano's play "Basue no Haru" was performed for the first time at the Park Theater in Asakusa. In the same year, he applied for "Chabanshi" in the script recruitment of Jiji Shinpo and won the first prize.
Immediately after the start of the Sino-Japanese War, in 1938, he was convened by the Army in Osaka and lived in service for about two years. He returned to Japan in April 1940. After that, he formed the "Cultural Bulletin National Assembly" with Hino Ashihei, a military artist who was also in service.
After World War II, he was in charge of screenplays for Shinpa, Shinpa drama, Kabuki, etc. In 1954, he won the Mainichi Theater Award and the Art Festival Award for his play "Ashita no Kofuku".
On January 3, 1973, he died of a cerebral hemorrhage in the audience while watching his own play at the Shinbashi Enbujo. Edit Biography
