After graduating from Takarazuka Music and Opera School, she made her movie debut in 1935 with "Hesitate Young People" directed by Satoshi Taguchi, produced by Nikki Tamagawa Film Studio. She also made her singer debut from Polydor.
In 1938, she transferred to Toho Eiga. She became freelancer after the war and her record company moved to Nippon Columbia.
