She's a Rakugoka - a person whose profession is to perform Rakugo. Rakugo is a type of traditional Japanese storytelling that was established in Japan during the Edo period. These are short anecdotes, humorous stories, passed on from mouth to mouth, which are displayed on the stage. The artist additionally adds a punch line after each of them, a funny commentary, and uses the acting to reflect humour even more.
