After graduating from university, she couldn't give up her dream of acting, so she attended Seijijuku Osaka School during the weekends while being an office worker, continuing her studies as a voice actress. She officially made her voice acting debut in "Kinkyu Hasshin Saver Kids," but didn't gain popularity until 1996 when she got the role of Mori Ran in "Detective Conan."
She died at the age of 61 on April 18, 2026, after undergoing medical treatment for an illness.
