He made his debut in September 2018 when he joined as ALPHABAT's new vocalist and visual. The group had originally debuted in 2012 as a duo and under another agency, but both members decided to leave YUB Entertainment. One kept the group's concept, and it re-debuted in November 2013 as a 9-member idol group under Simtong Entertainment.
However, they went on hiatus for almost 4 years as the members began enlisting in the military, and the group could not find any stability, switching agencies 3 times before signing with APB Entertainment (APB엔터테인먼트), who decided to add him as a new member just before the launch of their fourth mini-album, "New World".
The group has not officially disbanded, but they have not released any new material since April 2019, and only 3 members remain in the lineup. He entered university in early 2023 and is studying Directing.
