Goo Gun Il is a South Korean singer, musician, and former member of XDINARY HEROES (엑스디너리 히어로즈). He lived in New York and graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School. He later attended Berkeley College of Music but is currently on a leave of absence from the Drum program.

He made his debut in December 2021 as the band's leader, drummer, and vocalist with their first digital single, "Happy Death Day". They are managed by Studio J, a sub-label of JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트). All the members are actively involved in writing, composing, and producing the music of the band.

In early August 2026, a woman claiming to be his former girlfriend shared private call recordings and claimed that he had made inappropriate remarks and used abusive language toward fans and fellow members. JYP never confirmed those allegations but, after several conversations, the agency opted to terminate his contract on August 13 and dismissed him from the group.
