He was set to debut as part of CLIMIX's new boy group, but the agency kept delaying their debut date, and several members decided to leave the agency without having debuted.
In late 2021, he entered the singing survival show "Extreme Debut: Wild Idol" and finished in 2nd place, earning a spot in a new project group called TAN.
He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Think Entertainment (생각엔터테인먼트) and made his debut in March 2022 as the lead dancer, sub-vocalist and center with their 1st mini-album "1TAN".
However, the agency became embroiled in several controversies, and all members ended their contracts in June 2024. A few weeks later, leader Lee Chang Sun announced the group's disbandment.
