In early 2022, he participated in the survival show “The Origin – A, B, Or What?” under IST Entertainment (IST엔터테인먼트) and ended up 6th place, qualifying to be a member of the show's project group, ATBO (에이티비오). However, he faced controversy immediately after the show ended when he was accused of school bullying and violence by former classmates. Despite apologizing, the agency expelled him from the group and left the company.
After a period out of the industry to self-reflect, he signed with Bluedot Entertainment (블루닷 엔터테인먼트), and he made his debut as a soloist in February 2024 with the digital single album, "Blackout".
