In 2015, while filming the CTS drama "Love You Unconditionally" (愛你沒條件), Chiang sustained a mild concussion and inner ear imbalance after an on-screen slap by actor Kuo Tzu Chien (郭子乾) was delivered with excessive force. This injury required a year of treatment and temporarily halted her career. Despite recovering enough to return to acting, she later revealed that her inner ear imbalance is incurable, leaving her with lasting symptoms such as dizziness and an inability to perform certain physical activities.
Chiang has been in relationships with Chou Hsiao An (周孝安) and Yang Yi Chan (楊一展) but has since expressed her support for a non-marriage lifestyle.
