He made his debut in March 2022 when he joined as the group's new vocalist, dancer and maknae with their sixth single album, "Chase Episode 2: Maum". Originally named DONGKIZ, they debuted in April 2019 but, after 3 years of mild success, Dongyo Entertainment (동요엔터테인먼트) decided to make changes to the lineup and the group's concept. As a result, they re-branded to DKZ and he was added as a new member.
In May 2026, the agency announced the group's disbandment after several conversations with the members. They will now pursue their own activities.
