On Recipe for Farewell Feb 3, 2023
After I watched "would you like a cup of coffee" two years ago, I wanted so much for a series to be released that perfectly encapsulates the vibes I got from that beautiful short series.

This series is just that. It's a bit more of an emotional rollercoaster than wylacoc, but it was exactly what I was looking for. The characters of this show are flawed in their own beautiful way, but it just shows how our flaws and how we perceive others' flaws are vain at the end of the day. It's a series that makes you appreciate things/people around you, even the littlest of things. It's a series that makes you feel like loving and being loved. It's a beautiful series.

If this military broker scandal turns out to be true, his career would basically be over. Him dropping out of d.p season 2 is a huge opportunity that he lost.

I hope it's not true. He has a really promise acting career ahead of him.

The one time when TikTok edits did not lead to me being disappointed.

I genuinely enjoyed this series.

I don't know who updates actor's pages on mydramalist. But, if anyone stumbles upon his page to update it, he had a role in "unicorn", a 2022 series. He also had a role in a 2021 movie called "We go together". And I think he had a bit part in the 2022 movie "Alienoid" .

Please update it.

Good for you, I guess?

The amount of homophobic fujoshis I've come across is astonishing, though.

It's nice bls create environments that allow a form of understanding and acceptance to other sexualities, but a good chunk of female bl watchers are scarily homophobic.

It's an odd phenomenon. They like the gay men in the bls, because they fit the mould in their head of their fetishist fantasy, but their interactions with gay people that don't fit that mould, well it's unique, to say the least.

I'm glad bls give you an opening to understand dudes, but just know you are peeking into the lives of a fantasy depiction of men. It's not real. The tropes are not real. Application of Uke seme stereotypes on real life gay people can be harmful.

You aren't exactly peeking into anything real.

I've watched most kbls/movies.

I've also watched no regret and night flight too.

I know bl land is a fantasy for most viewers. I watch it as a form of escapism too. But, as much as I love the fluff, I also love when more realistic experiences are portrayed. It balances it out for me.

I'm gay. I'm not in bl land. I'm in real life. I experience real things.

I'm not in any kind of bubble. My bubble popped the moment I was born.

Not all gay stories have happy endings and those real stories should be given the space and appreciation to be told too.

This series deserves the same level of recognition and hype that 'the glory' and 'weak hero class' are currently getting.

I think the level of gore in the series turned away a lot of potential viewers. But, if they give this series a chance, they'll discover a beautiful gem.

A story full of suspense, action, complex characters, thriller, tears, heart wrenching emotions. They'll discover perfection. They'll discover satisfaction.

I think you're in a bubble. So many places around the world especially in conservative countries have staunch christians that are very prejudiced and hateful to gay people. In my country queer people are still killed for just being themselves.

Just because it's different for where you live in, doesn't mean that's the same reality for all of gay people.

Believe it or not, liberal minded christians are in the minority.

It started off well by showing a gay Christian finally summoning the courage to kiss another man. Alas, it took…
No. It just shows the complexity of sexual identities and acceptance.

It perfectly portrays the struggles of queer people in religious settings. People don't just accept themselves or love themselves after their first kiss with someone of the same sex.

It takes time. So much time. It's like a battle within yourself of hating yourself and loving someone else. The person that makes you explore your identity might not be who you end up with. They just become a memory and an integral part of your journey to self acceptance.

This little queer film is real.
Some people never end up accepting themselves. Some people do. But it all takes time. Being stuck in a toxic religious environment never helps too. The feeling of guilt is real.

I was watching "made on the rooftop", and was wondering where I had seen his face from.

It was from "summer strike". I watched summer strike last week and didn't connect the dots.

Surprisingly, I've watched more than 10 movies/series he has acted in.

His accusers were just cleared of all charges from the defamation lawsuit he brought up against them.

If this is true, it means the court saw some truth to what they were saying. Defamation is taken very seriously in Korea. I feel like this whole lawsuit against his alleged victims painted his image even darker than before, in the eyes of the public, because it looks like he was trying to silence his alleged victims, since the court didn't find his accusers guilty of defaming him. If he had won the case, it would have helped him a bit in restoring his image.

I highly doubt jisoo is getting any stellar acting roles after this case. Military hiatus or not, nothing really has proved his innocence. And people conveniently forget that he confirmed there is some truth to his bullying accusations.

South Korean bullying and the bullying we're used to seeing in the media, are two totally different things (the bullies in that country need to be exorcised, because with the stories we've heard, its difficult to believe they are simply just children), so he is not proven innocent, like the comments below are saying.

Especially with the popularity of series like "the glory" recently, a comeback for him seems almost impossible. The public is yet to welcome him back with open arms.

As of now, he is neither proven innocent or guilty of all accusations levied against him. If there was total falsehood in the accusations, his accusers would have lost the defamation case. If he's innocent of the severity of how the bullying accusations were described, I hope he still gets to achieve his dreams, though. False accusations happen a lot these days.

And people might be asking, why are they bringing it up now? The things he possible did happened years ago. Well, as twisted as it might sound, bullying victims wait till their perpetrators achieve happiness, joy and success, so that when they snatch it away from them, the fall from grace of their bully, can give them some sort of satisfaction.

That's why accusations are released at the height of celebrities career, so that the impact on their careers can be more, in the eyes of their alleged victims.

He's going to play the main lead in the adaptation of the webtoon "Bastard".
He will do so well. I'm sure of it. He has the acting range for it.

If he can do with "bastard", what he did with "weak hero", he will become a household name in the acting world.

Whoever is in charge of selecting scripts/dramas for him is doing an amazing job. I can't wait.
