LXF just wants to be useful. A person's behavior and character depends a lot on the way they grew up, how they were treated back then and their relationship with family members. People hating on this series definitely grew up privileged, hence they underestimate the burden LXF carries. This is the reality of many people who grew up poor and were exploited by those close to them.
Fanfan's character doesn't develop that much, but he does take stand for himself later and take a bit of revenge…
Thank you for the reply. I've actually been dreading LXF going through too much of a change 😭 I like him as he is, he just needs to stop being such a pushover. A revenge sounds good. Looking forward to see how they will execute it in the series.
I felt kinda disappointed with today's episode tbh. Ep 3 was so intense and full of tension, and now in the 4th there is a huge change in BLQ, he suddenly doesn't care?? But well, that's probably how his character is, fickle and a player, my bad for assuming that every top has eyes only for his bottom and is devoted to him from start to finish. I just strongly dislike exes trope. This is not all sunshine and rainbows type of story so I kinda respect that. Not everything's black and white, there are multiple shades of grey.
Also, looking forward to LXF's character development everybody is talking about. While I enjoy him being naive etc (it fits him okay? he is just a humble country boy), him standing up for himself may be interesting.
(On the side, I absolutely adore LXF's actor, he is so cute, I'm in love with his teary eyes. They cast a right person.)
