This drama drags out the youth phase way too much. It honestly feels like a massive character introduction that eats up 17 episodes, which is more than half the show.
It tries to be a slice-of-life drama with different issues and lessons every episode, but it just fails to deliver any real depth or realism. Lovely Us has the exact same concept but does it way better. Another drama that nails the youth phase is Always Home. For me, those two are the absolute best when it comes to youth dramas.
Don't get me wrong, this show isn't terrible, but if the youth phase was just for introductions, it didn't need 17 episodes. They should've either cut it short or made it actually matter to the main story.
The chemistry is spot on for the romance, and the comedy is entertaining enough to get some good laughs. Both really capture what a romcom should be. I’m not sure why there’s so much criticism about this drama.

Wentao & Peixuan are one of the best couple storylines ever created on a dating show, and I just love them so much. They are realistic, imperfect, and each of them is a "broken" human being. Yet, they heal each other and become perfect when they are together. I am so grateful they managed to work through their issues and chose to stay together. Wishing them the best.
Lizheng & Huihui: one thing is for sure, their first date is one of the best first dates in dating show history. It is impossible not to fall in love with a date like that. Huihui’s personality is genuinely amazing, and Lizheng is truly the right person because he can match her energy. Even though it is still hard to shake the feeling that Huihui likes him more than he likes her (I hope I am wrong), I wish them the absolute best.
BK & Tata are just being BK & Tata😭. What else can I even say about them? I thought they would hit a roadblock when it came to real-life issues, but in the end, they sailed through them smoothly. BK personality is nothing like a 24-year-old in a relationship; he is so mature for his age. I wish them the best since you can clearly see that Tata is completely head over heels for him.
Youling and Liuliu: I am not a fan of them individually or the journey they took to end up together. I am glad the other guys who got stuck with Liuliu found a happy ending, though I feel bad for Danqi. But it is what it is, I guess they were truly destined for each other, and they are arguably the couple with the highest chance of staying together long-term. Youling is a CEO, so financial stability won't be an issue for them. Plus, they are the only couple who didn't have to endure a long-distance relationship. Youling parents are wonderful, and they are just so sweet when they are together in real life.

The most couples in the history of Love Actually who stay together after the show. The friendship was also good. I dare say this is the best dating show ever made.
I know it’s low-budget, the dubbing is obvious, and some scene cuts feel a bit choppy. But I agree with the comments below, they actually put real effort into the musical parts, it's really well done and it turns out looking so cool. Usually, I skip the music in music dramas, but I enjoyed every single music in this one. The comedy is also perfect and super funny. I’m really enjoying this show so far!

Especially the actress playing Bai Feixin, she is so cute in this and plays her character so well.
