It’s definitely way better than Season 1. The parent panelist is more entertaining this season, maybe because they were still a bit more cautious in Season 1.
But just as important is the cast, the chemistry between each couple is 💯. I usually don’t care for guys who waver between two women on dating shows, but I can totally understand Jaehyuk😂. When the two best female cast members in terms of personality and maturity choose you, and you have chemistry with both of them, it’s definitely going to be hard to choose.
Watch the trailer for Episode 7. it looks like the tables are about to turn😂. Even in Episode 6, we saw Yiyang showing signs of jealousy. It seems he needed another guy to pursue Zhaoyu to realized his own feelings.

In my opinion, there’s still a chance they’ll choose each other. It’s like the Qiqi and Luoluo cp in Season 3. They chose each other in the show finale, but from their conversation, it was clear they were just trying to be friends. Actually, the key point is that they had no other choice because by the Season 3 finale, everyone else already had a partner😂. Or it could be like the Zhang and Piko cp, who chose each other and tried to develop their relationship slowly outside the show. The difference here is that the YuYang couple still has the option to end up with someone else,
But yeah, I just saw it too, at least the episode 7 trailer gives a little hope that there’s still a chance for them🥺

Yeah, that’s my biggest fear. At least I wouldn’t mind if they chose each other but ended up just as friends on the show, like the couple in Twinkle Love S3. What I’m most afraid of is that they’ll end up with other contestants on the show. I wouldn’t be able to enjoy it as much if that happened, even if they ended up together in real life.
Damn, if Yiyang and Zhaoyu really end up together on this show, that’s definitely my favorite couple dynamic on a dating show. I just really love the trope. She falls first but he doesn’t feel the same way, but later he realizes he’s in love with her too. I think this might be the first time we’ve seen a dynamic like this on a dating show? Yeah, this is probably the slowest-burning drama I’ve ever seen 😂, but since it has 40 episodes, the story unfolds nicely, and at least there are plenty of moments where they’re together.

I hope you enjoy this. It’s more of a slice-of-life story, realistic and mature— and the romance develops more slowly compared to Hidden Love, but trust me, the romance is definitely worth the wait. There are also many supporting characters here, each with their own struggles. At first, I tried to skip over their stories, but it turned out I actually grew to love each of their stories and their struggles.

Actually, there’s so much I want to discuss about this drama, but one thing I need to highlight is that the female lead in this drama is one of the green-flag female lead in the world of C-dramas. When it comes to green-flag FL, before watching this drama, I always only thought of the FL in Hidden Love, but after watching this drama, there’s finally another FL who can be called a green-flag. Interestingly, their faces are quite similar, and I can picture them as real siblings in the real life 😁
