The only “misunderstanding” is that he never clocked she was head-over-heels for him, and she never guessed he’d been silently loving and protecting her from Day 1. They share their first real heart-to-heart around Episode 9, where he finally admits he’s cared for her since the very start. There’s no full breakup—it’s definitely that blink-and-you’ll-miss-it half-episode split in Episode 7 when he steps away to heal—and that’s it. They clear everything up and finally lay it all on the table by around Episode 9. By Episode 9, it’s hugs, confessions, and “let’s do this properly” all the way. Episode 12? Just the happy wrap-up, no new breakups or misunderstandings there. 😉
