Why do I hate all the employees of that editorial? if i was the CEO i would have kicked them all out ๐๐๐๐
Especially guys. They should take a crash course in being a gentleman and help a female coworker install those heavy water barrels. You can injure yourself lifting such heavy loads. And who was the dumbass who made that part of her job? Like, wtf.
About time FL got her sh*t together. But I'm getting hilarious second hand embarassment from seeing FL embarass herself in front of ML all the time. You can say the guy has seen it all already ๐, if he'll still be able to get interested in her then it's gonna be for real next time.
Also, anybody else feeling that scenes of ML's workplace are a useless waste of time and boring filler that contribute nothing to the plot? And his friend really needs to shut his piehole once in a while and start filtering his words, especially at public places such as work where people can overhear. And considering he's a CEO it just looks very unprofessional. I guess the saying that men are worse gossipers than women is true, at least in this drama for sure. Poor FL just keeps on stumbling upon disgusting male gossip all the time.
Everyone is saying for a dating coach why is she acting so pathetic. But itโs precisely because she is a dating…
I definitely got baited with misleading synopsis and posters. I thought it's gonna be a rom-com, in which YIN excels, not a sappy melodrama. YIN's still doing great, but the plot is def not what I expected.
I agree with another commenter here saying that they should have shown more of FL and her ex's relationship before spending so many episodes on showing FL suffering from severe emotional breakdown because of the break up. Their relationship didn't look sincere to me, tbh. FL looked like she was just living in her fantasies and was desperate to marry because it would have meant success. And her ex looked very sus from the very beginning. Didn't look like there was any real love between them. Her falling apart like that does look exaggerated because of that. But I guess some people can lose all reason and dignity if they're hit where they're the most vulnerable. But I'm still wondering whether it's all wounded heart that is driving FL into self destructive behaviour, or it's pride and failed expectations, or maybe she had mental issues already. And ML looks like a happy chap in comparison to suffering FL, his relationship with his ex looks even less serious compared.
What do you, guys, think ML will do with the ring? If he's gonna give a half-heartedly bought ring, meant for another woman to FL it's gonna be so tasteless. Especially since FL knows where it came from.
how come no one is talking about the soldier (june)... it is not cute, its stalking, harrasment and creepy.
Yea, heโs kinda creepy and overly cheerful. And now heโs got a job close to where the girl is living. Maybe itโs nothing, or maybe heโs a psycho.
FL is seriously owning her role, but how long are they gonna beat her up into a pulp with that break up? It's just depressing to watch. Judging by the preview there's still no end to it and so far I'm not seeing how they gonna naturally segue into the leads relationship. Though I usually hate this trope, I think a time skip is needed here. Otherwise it may look forced or worse, become a tropey confused hook up out of pity. FL is suffering from a serious emotional breakdown and ML doesn't seem to have given up on his ex yet (he couldn't throw out the ring), they seem to be far from ready to start anything new.
The message is forgiveness indeed. ML got great character development and became a better person, heโs able…
You know there were some commenters here that didn't care much for ML's character development and said that he was human trash through and through and deserved everything that happened to him. That kinda sheds a different light on his enemies and why they put all the blame on him until the last. Makes this whole argument a grey area.
Personally though, I disagree with that stance. ML sure had a nasty temper and bullied his secretaries for nothing (for which FL made him pay for), but mostly he was a scapegoat for other people's problems. I totally agree with you that most of the people that ganged up on ML weren't in the right. This drama's doing well at showcasing that people generally are flawed, selfish, egotistic and like to put the blame on someone else, instead of themselves, because it's easier. And there was a lot of miscommunication going on because of that: -ML's best friend, instead of talking to him openly, backstabbed him for alledged suicide of his sister, though deep down inside he knew he himself was to blame for abandoning her. -ML's delulu ex selfishly tried to force him to get together again, trying to play like her brutally dumping him years ago was nothing special. And even blamed FL for her plans not working. They had their own reasons to get mad at each other and couldn't normally talk it out until the very last because of their hurt feelings. -The suicidal stalker girl simply decided to put all the blame on ML who didn't help her (not sure what he even could have done, help her file a police report?), instead of the real culprit who defamed her, because it was easier. -Ex-secretary club were kinda justified to get revenge on him, but their methods, especially the makshift bomb, went overboard. But still, ML apologizing to them and taking them back to work for him was the right thing to do.
So yeah, most of them didn't deserve an apology, but people and relationships are complicated and the truly irredeemable main villain aside, they weren't bad people. Even ML's professional rival turned out to be a decent guy in the end. I say props to ML for becoming a better man and making peace with everybody. Sometimes all it takes is an apology. And props to FL who made it possible, I guess she was the nicest person of them all, though she too at first was in the same hate boat with the rest of his enemies. So overall, I think this drama has complicated, not your run-of-the mill kdrama antagonists, a beautifully done overarching plot and a very satisfying ending. So if you're on the fence how to rate it then go for the higher score, compared to other rom-com dramas I think this drama is one of the best, flaws notwithstanding.
Okay so I'm on ep 15 and as much as I've truly enjoyed this drama so far I now have one HUGE, GLARING issue with…
The message is forgiveness indeed. ML got great character development and became a better person, heโs able to apologize and forgive now. And aside from the main villain all the other characters that did him wrong realized their mistakes as well after talking it out and resolving their issues. Better that than living in perpetual revenge cycle and hating on each other.
