Title Alchemy of Souls Spoiler

If it's for part 2 then it's third wheeling of epic proportions 🤣 How long are they gonna drag this out?
I hope they're not gonna do a 180 in part 2 and pair Naksu with Yul in the end for some reason. That would be really dumb.

The pics that just leaked from the season 2 set confirm that the love triangle continues into the second season.

I'm here for LBFaD appreciation. My favorite 2022 drama so farrrrr. Best fluff/angst in my book
Good for you. I'm now afraid AoS will follow suit, it's still my top drama this year 😬

For me EAW is the biggest letdown of 2022, what a hype trainwreck in the end, everything is just tearing at the seams now.

Title Crazy Love Spoiler
Is there any love triangle? If yes then I am out?
There is obsessive ML's ex who shows up 12 years later after dumping him and thinks he'll get back together with her like nothing happened. But he never gives in to her and never gives FL any reasons to doubt him. So all in all his ex is just another antagonist who's out there to ruin ML.
Once FL and ML clear their misunderstandings, stop hating each other and find themselves falling for each other, they're all in for one another, it's very sweet.

Actually none of the actors are on board with showrunners plans for season 2. They were not made aware of this in advance, it's just what the showrunners decided they want now, because of the show's popularity and ergo money.
Good luck to them gathering all the actors again, lol. ML actor going to do his obligatory military service, other actors probably already have other plans and schedules. And would FL actress want keep on doing this gig, would she want her career be defined by this role? Lots of unknowns.

There wasn't much about him to begin with, the audience just kept waiting for his backstory and character development until the last episode for nothing.

totally understand your point. it started so good but the writer lacks of creativity to build characters' development…
Yea, I think PEB carried this whole drama, her acting skills are amazing. No wonder showrunners so ardently wanted her for this role.
It's kinda like in A Business Proposal, where a very simple and cliche plot was carried by hilariously good FL and SFL actresses.

100% agree, plot wise, this show is a mess lol.First of all, they handle criminal cases and corporate cases and…
I agree about lack of specialization. Hanbada's a big company and should have attorneys specializing in different aspects of law, they even mention it in the drama. Even small companies and individually working attorneys tend to specialize. More realistically, they should have given a chance for undefined rookies to work with various mentors.
And some cases were really dumb indeed. The one about public road like you mentioned, or the one where NK woman turned herself in, for example, were so on the surface it just made everyone involved dumb by not looking up the obvious relevant information and laws about them.
From what I've seen from other law dramas, interesting cases are never so easily resolved by simply finding the correct law clause, or hoping that the other side or the judge somehow hasn't looked it up. Attorneys often have to do an extra investigative work, sometimes prosecution misses some evidence. And most interesting cases often have unexpected twists. Haven't seen much of those in this drama.

the procesutor while being smart, looks so dumb
Yea, I like his brother much more. The writer is all calm, smart and calculating. While prosecutor is just some hot-shot who's always angry at someone and still hasn't contributed much to the case, aside from finding contact with secret intelligence guys, but even that was reporter's contribution.

I get your point, but who cares man. LOLits a drama lmao, if people like it, its a good one.If people wanted professional…
I've seen other law kdramas where cases were interesting and smartly presented.
But I guess here cases are just a backdrop following the same blueprints that take entirely too much time out of episodes, instead of focusing on much more needed characters development.

Anybody else have a feeling that for a law drama cases were rather weak and almost all of them revolved around FL finding that one law clause in her head library that made an irrefutable counter argument for a case? I get that cases were based on real ones, but some of them were very basic and weak, where it required just to find that one clause to crumble them? Yea, she's quick about it because she's a walking law books library, but anybody can do it by normal means too. Irl both sides go through all relevant laws and precedents prior going to court, here for drama's sake she remembers it at the last minute while already in court and the other side stays dumbfounded. As the episodes went on and this schtick kept on repeating it just became obvious that it's writers way to make FL the smartest by making all other attorneys unrealistically dumb.
It was especially obvious in episode 15, where a senior attoreny was made an utter incompetent fool to show how smart she is. Not to mention her rookie colleagues who don't look like they contribute anything to the cases. Yea, they are shown looking through case papers, but they never came up with any valid ideas. And Min Woo never even represented anyone in court, only in episode 15 he stood up and repeated what FL already said to them.
So all in all, this drama failed to me as a law drama and if FL was supposed to be shown growing professionally it also failed - even by the end she's not a team player, she still acts like that annoying A-student who just has to keep yelling the correct answer before anyone else all the time.

That crazy killer girl character, who's secretary's sister - her actress was the initial choice for FL in Alchemy of Souls? I can see why they ditched her, she has nothing on Jung So Min.

He did it so that FL could get a job at Hanbada, nobody was hiring her because she's autistic.
Nobody said her father is smart. On the contrary, he's still a dumbass even after all these years. But he did what he thought was best at the moment, she really wanted to work as an attorney.

I know we are all angry about this and don’t see much logic behind it, but I’m still asking in case I missed…
There weren't any signs from her, on the contrary, she openly hated him, because she knew he was an ass even from university.
He, on the other hand, gawked at her a few times, if that even counts.
That's about it.

Yea, this is one of the major things that really bothers and pisses me off. What were the writers thinking with this 180 character behaviour?

yes! it's a solid 8/10 for me. even that is generous cuz there's so much better dramas out there.
Yea, they're not even gonna show that mistreating disabled people at work is bad by dropping Min Woo's character sub plot and making him a completely different character all of a sudden.

The rating is too high, you guys. It's fluffy and cute, and the first half was good, but let's come to our senses.…
Yea, I already lowered my score. Will see how they manage in the last episode, maybe it will warrant another drop.
