And it is not proven yet that Bu-Yeon did anything to Naksu, even that speculation about her deliberately stepping in for the ritual is just that - speculation. Yea, her body's abilities manifest in time of great peril, but so far there was only one instance when it definitely was her conciously helping Uk from being soul shifted and even then it was in some aether soul plane while Naksu was still doing her thing in her body.

Today's scene with her and Uk at the market, where he says he likes her face now, makes it all the more sadder if she dies. The line between him loving Naksu in a soul vs. body form is getting blurrier with each episode. I'm again raising a question why the heck the villains had to go through this elaborate fake Bu-Yeon plan instead of simply soul shifting mama Jin? Fake Bu-Yeon a) is not a mage, even with the ice stone she'll be as powerless as that eunuch Kim; b) is not an assigned Jin leader yet; c) has way bigger age discrepancy with shaman Choi, could affect the aos ritual; d) can't open the Jin vault for those precious artifacts. Mama Jin would have been a much better choice. And in the earlier episode it was mentioned that she was the initial goal? The only thing that fake Bu-Yeon has is her youth, that is the villains new order's goal, but still too many drawbacks.
