Ah, that's it. I'm dropping this shit, the drag is unbearably boring with 4 more episodes to go. And them breaking up for the dumbest reason was the nail in the coffin. But justice for the stalker was poetic 🤣. Gonna read ending recap later about the culprit guy.
So, I looked through ep 1-8 again to look for reasons why Jin Bu-Yeon could be Mu Deok & blind girl at the same…
I can only agree about one theory is that Mu-Deok being blind has something to do with the Ice Stone and that she's probably Jin.
Other theories are not right. Jins are Ice Stone artifacts protectors and maybe descendants of that maid mage that performed the ritual in the past. Reincarnation is not a thing here anywhere so far. And it especially has nothing to do with Naksu. You're just headcanoning here your favorite trope it seems.
ML has his own soul, not late king's. His father switched back with the king with the help of soul ejector. Late king died of ilness in the end. But ML may actually be late king's son if that's how it works in this fantay world.
One more theory I just read in the article comment section.Jang Uk will have to kill Mudeok for season 1 finale,…
Theories, theories. Judging by the article the only thing clear is that Mu-Deok may be out in the end and new body for FL is in discussion, whether it be her original body or someone else. Way to spoil part 1 for everyone, jeez. Or was there a leak and now it's damage control?
I read that they keep the whole cast except for the leading actress. Rumor only but if it is true (we will know…
Yea, if part 1 is self contained I'm ok with it. But not being able to contain the story in 20 (!) episodes from the get go usually is not a good advertisment for the writers.

The fact that this thing is still not nailed down means the script is far from being finished and long wait for part 2 for us (personally, I hate multiseasonal stories and cash cow milking). I mean, this is a major decision to make for FL character if it's a direct sequel. Unless it's gonna be yet another body for Naksu to inhabit if Jung So Min won't sign for part 2.
I feel like they always want to go on with rookies, just look at the rest of the cast. Jung So Min only helped…
If FL for part 2 will be a rookie who can't act that will be a big bummer. You gotta admit that big part of the charm of this show is Jung So Min's acting.
So what's are your thoughts, guys, on part 2 news?
Personally, I don't know what to think about FL potentially being replaced with another actress, even though it's original Naksu. I mean, it's her acting I really like. I'm not sure a rookie can pull off this role in a satisfying way. Also, it kinda spoils the ending of part 1? Naksu will come back alive in her own body? Or will this be a completely different actress for part 2, like yet another body? Also not gonna like it I think.
As for the plot they're planning for part 2, I'd be upset if it's a direct sequel and part 1 ends on a sad cliffhanger. I'd be ok though if it was a prequel about Naksu's assassin days or smth, or if part 1 is self-contained.
I'll just throw another theory here for visibility:
Alchemy of souls is Ice Stone's magic and there is a reason they've showed it change its properties: from ice-> to fire-> to stone-> to water-> to ice again. It's similar to the philosopher's stone in Western alchemy - a mythical object that can change lead to gold. And in Asian culture elements, transformation of elements and reincarnation beliefs go deep as well. Perhaps soul shifters turning to stone is just the next phase in a cycle of transformation of matter. Perhaps petrified bodies can turn back to life if Ice Stone power is applied. It's already revealed it can stop the petrifying process, so maybe it can reverse it as well. All those statues down in the lake...
So since we are not following any biology logic on Jang Uk’s birth that means if Jang Uk and Naksu had children,…
Well, ML's father and the king firmly believed that's how it works. Sounds like a load of bull, I know. But it's fantasy, who knows how it really works in that world.
Part 2 is not officially confirmed. The only thing that is known is that the writers want to extend the story…
Not necessarily. There were successful dramas earlier that didn't get planned sequels due to various reasons, be it funding troubles, conflicting schedules, covid, etc.
But justice for the stalker was poetic 🤣.

But seems like a spoiler is hidden in the news - Naksu will come back alive in her own body?
