I don't think so anymore as well. Watched the new episodes yesterday and it becomes quite clear that my very first impression, that he is just a lonely man with mental problems, probably trauma, seems to be true. It's nice to see how Su Lin cares for him and helps him to get better. I hope for both of them to get a good ending in which they can heal from things that happened to them in the past. What you mention about the teacher. I've also noticed that sometimes he acts and looks in a way that give me the impression that he hides something.
That's why I think he seems like a nice guy too ^^ But with Thriller/Crime Drama I don't trust posters completely. Probably I'm to suspicious. Thanks for the advice to trust the poster. :)
I wonder -> this homeless man from the sewers, is he a bad guy or is he just a mentally instable person who only wants to protect her and mistakes Su Lin maybe for an own lost child he wants to care for without realising that what he does is deprivation of liberty? You may spoil me though. I'd really like to know whether I should feel empathy with him or not. As for now he seems mentally unstable and I have the impression he may think, that he has to protect her and therefore has to lock her up, so that nothing bad can happen to her. Those who read the novel, do you know what's up to with this man?
I want to know so much, what's behind this message. Who sent it? Why did they send it now? How long has the person observed Wenjie? Why didn't they interfere when Wenjie almost died, if they had been tracking and watching him too? So many open questions.
I have this déjà vü. If any of you has followed the Drama "Day and Night". The fans waited about 7 years for the second season. Somehow I have the impression the same will happen here.
Su Ying was indeed a quite annoying character. I felt as if she was only introduced to mess up the growing trust…
Yeah, it's indeed frustrtrating. Personally I think, things could have been different, if Su Ying had not appeared. She is professional, but with her appearance the dynamic changed. I wonder, how the story could have developed without her appearance? Maybe some day I write a small what if fanfiction about it. Not sure if and when though.

Unfortunately not. There's a lot more "private investigation" from his side, which gets him in a lot of trouble, but luckily Captain Luo always draws the right conclusions and thus they work together even without Wenjie telling him everything.
The last 5 Episodes to me appear somehow rushed and messy. There are many open questions and some inconsistencies for me. Potential that was there, wasted. I also agree that the selective amnesia was ridiculous and what about that video clip that shows that NJLs housekeeper was a fiend herself? Did they simply leave that out? Also is it just me or does the person in the end who buys the artwork appear creepy? The way he behaves reminded me of the Fiends and gives me the impression this is far from over. And did I miss something? But what happened to Locust in the end? As for Xing Shen, why even mention the possibility that by doing research on this soil and meat the process of the infection can be reversed, just to never mention it again? The story started so good. It brought up interesting social and philosophical questions, about how we treat animals (like fiends treat humans), about power, about the difference of children of peace (NIJL) and children of war (Xing Shen), about making difficult decicions in hard time, about what happens when a soldier who was trained to follow and never learned to lead is pushed into being a leader, about the quetsion whether the solution to end the war does not lie in the war itself but in science that makes peaceful co-existence possible. So mane loose ends and interesting potential all gone to waste in these last 5 episodes. At first this was a 10 drama to me, now it is only 8 due to this rushed and confusing ending.
I wasn’t feeling these last two episodes. SL has been a slight annoyance to me since day one, now he has made…
I had the same thought about MY's Master, even shortly before his reaction. It suddenly struck me, what if? Then after his reaction, his reaction to me appeared like the proof for my guess. ^^
He might think is leggit, cause I think his assistant might be his assistant.
I think he was well aware what he was doing, but in front of the police no criminal would willingly admit their crime. Therefore I guess he has come up beforehand with a story that sounds believable and can't be proven wrong that easily. It's so to speak word against word. The way he did everything he can hide behind - I thought this was legit and the police can't proof otherwise, since he's a wellknown businessman with a reputation. And the police needs solid proof to imprison him. I hope that he will pay for his crimes in the end, since I also think he knew what he was doing and that the child was stolen.
Are the ones who like the drama not voting on episodes? Surely we are more than the ones who don’t like it?…
I always vote at the end of a drama. And I'm not really familiar with how voting for each episode works. I tried it once, but the site didn't allow me to vote a second time then and behaved as if I voted already and therefore used up my vote.
