I'm pretty sure there are more series with healthy couples than vice versa. As a fan of dark romances, I'm delighted…
Really happy for you; I need some healthy C-drama with only fluff and romance. I watched a YouTube video of the upcoming Chinese adaptation; it's trauma after trauma after trauma.
It started great, but then it completely derailed into a mess. China has some of the most beautifully written danmei, with genuinely healthy relationships and compelling storylines. It honestly frustrates me that it's always the toxic, trashy novels that end up getting adaptations, while so many incredible stories with well-developed, healthy couples are ignored. I checked the upcoming adaptations, and somehow they just keep getting more and more toxic. It reminds me of the old days when almost every BL ended in tragedy just to reinforce a pessimistic image of the genre for the general public. It's disappointing to see history repeating itself in a different way.
So, so good, such an enjoyable watch; this is such a perfect binge-watch series. In love with FL and ML chemistry. Their kisses made me swoon. Will rewatch again and again.
So far, so good; I am loving the chemistry. They are too hot to look at on screen. I am very happy they are almost 100 % sticking to the original materials. BL gods have been especially kind this june and July.
A below-average drama; can watch once and forget that it ever existed, Ji Soo acting was, as always, bad; her voice and depiction have never improved, even after all these years. I think she can do a good job in C dramas because they dub over the actor's' voices. Disappointed that In Guk is only getting such low-grade dramas; he has potential, but his scripts are always average.
Taichi is way too immature and childish to be on a dating show. The second things get even a little serious, he runs away like a kid who doesnāt want to take responsibility. And when he said he was upset because MS jokingly told him not to call him⦠even though he doesnāt even like him like that?? Bro what are you, 4? Make it make sense.
MS and HJun felt kinda rushed too. Like okay⦠but Iām not feeling it at all.
Han Gyeol has ZERO luck with dates š First the awkward yoga, now that completely messed-up tarot situation. Who actually thinks thatās a good date idea?? I still feel like he likes Taichi more than Hyeok Jin, honestly.
And Hyeon Jun? He behaved exactly like someone who just isnāt interested. I keep seeing comments saying āhe wasnāt activeā or āhe was boring,ā but I think he did that on purpose so Yunjae would stop getting his hopes up. He didnāt give him false hope or mixed signals. And it kinda worked, because Yunjae slowly started realizing it too. It's not his fault that Yunjae still cant take the hint. Poor Sun Wook, the amount of hate he got just for being a genuine human made me pissed off. The way he was direct with both Su Min and HJ made me like him more. The hate they are getting just because they are not acting like some BL male hero or villain in your delulu fantasy is disgusting. The way you lot are making conspiracy theories just to justify your retarded actions. EWWWW
The male lead has the screen presence of a log. What was even the point of having a male lead? It should have been about the 3 ladies without all the love triangle and nonsense.
The elimination idea was just plain stupid. This episode should be a slap in the face to everyone who kept screaming āunfairā for the newcomers. Both of the eliminated contestants were returnees who tried just as hard, maybe even harder than others on the show. Yun Jae⦠Hyunjin literally told you multiple times heās more interested in Sunwook. Take the hint. Minseong, you just met Hyeogjun two days ago; calm down with the interrogations. And some of you fans seriously need to log off for a bit. Delete the apps, go outside, touch some grass, and maybe come back with a healthier perspective because the hate is getting ridiculous.
