I've actually been following c-ent for a couple years now and these platform's world conferences always release a ton of very exciting material for every single show they have on shelf OR even for ones that have wrapped up very recently and sometimes you get litteral trailers for dramas that haven't even finished filming. It's never been this dry tbh

at least they put a bunch of flowers in already-released-10-years-ago posters' background for some dramas...BUT NOT EVEN SOME STILL PICS FOR VOS????

The posters popped up on my feed and I was like "wait the fl's style?? this looks so fun!" . Turns out the whole team and company are from bftb and so it makes sm sense. Xuanhuan (which means a lot of variety and fun in the magic system), time travel, father daughter bond, ml and fl going on a journey tgt?? JLFX as script supervisor and bftb's director and writers?? Young and fresh faces as the leads?? SIGN ME TF IN. This is gonna be SO fun!!!

Tbh I think zyr is still a better actor than xyl (he was so wooden I'm sawry 😭 and at least they didn't bill him 1st over dudu so it's not that bad ig??? I've seen so many completely female centric IPs turn into "the story of this hot and sexy man's journey featuring his side chick" that this one doesn't sound too bad in comparison 💀

I'm constantly disappointed in the choices she or her team make for her career. Li qin has 15 years of experience, has studied in the most prestigious drama academy in her country and has a pretty big fanbase as well; yet instead of projects that can showcase her skills, she keeps picking male centric dramas starring traffic male celebrities which don't help her public image at all.
If it's her pr team doing this, I hope they realize that becoming a side chick in male centered stories and being billed 2nd to super popular liuliangs who are 10 years her junior doesn't gain her traffic, it's just humiliating for a talented and veteran woman like her. If it's herself making these decisions, I hope she changes her mind bc it's very sad to see a girl with such an amazing background, talent, skill and beauty take such a pointless route in her career.
