Can someone explain me why Luo Yunxi fans are hating Ju Jingyi??? ππ
reddit lyx stans are very strange ppl like I'm sorry to his normal fans for saying this but those are also the same ppl who started the cdl hate train back in 2022...they just hate women π
Watch *The Glory* with me when it comes out, please! I donβt want to be alone in the comments. With *Divine…
I'm a KMS truther and I will be watching The glory but I stop reading comments when dramas go on air for the sake of my sanity so I'm sorry but I'm with you in spirit πβπ»
Please someone tell me why they dubbed Deng Wei, Julia Xiang, and Chen Xinhai bc I've seen dramas in which all…
Intl fans always believe it's about what voice suits which char but it actually just depends on how well the actors deliver their lines and their standard mandarin pronunciation most of the time. I don't speak Chinese so Idk but since some parts of the show uses it's original audio while the leads are dubbed, it's probably a line delivery issue.
based off your taste. both are different. one is an idol romance xianxia fantasy... That's divine tree.while this…
well as ppl are saying they're very different genres but imo lotdt doesn't even compare to this one in terms of writing and characters' complexity. I suppose that one a bit more "idol romance" than KMS which is meant to be serious and intriguing. (you didn't hear me say this but tbh I don't find lotdt anything spectacular even compared to other cdramas of the same genreπ€·π»ββοΈ)
So there was really a female Emperor in China? I thought it was make believe.
Yup wzt is a very well known figure in Chinese history! I recommend watching Xiran jay zhao's yt video about her because this woman's life story and how she seized power is interesting and very much insane lol
ppl keep hyping qsk's novels up but all I've seen so far has been makjang and soap opera π₯± idk I hope the glory is at least entertaining bc I love cdl
The show doesn't exactly name the empress as Wu zetian but since the setting is vaguely Tang dynasty, it's probably a reference to her rein. It's really such a smart decision on the scriptwriter's part to make the ruler of the nation a woman because the female characters don't have to deal with patriarchal limitations (that would make the plot logic flawed) and women in general seem to have a lot of freedom in the KMS universe (they can even get appointed as court officials)!! It all makes sense bc the empress has set rules to make women's living conditions better!
Tale of lady Ok is not a cdrama and it's not exactly a teamwork investigation but the vibes could be similar ig??…
Okay so I've started watching Kill my sins and I think it's exactly what you want!! It's probably the 1st time I'm watching a historical mystery/thriller cdrama led by a female protagonist who has a bunch of other ladies working with her and it's sooo cool and super intriguing π
