ngl now that I think it through, as much as I want jingyi and dudu to do a double fl drama tgt, I hope they don't accept this...gjm always gets beautiful actresses in his dramas for aesthetics and gives them main char roles to on paper for publicity and to shut their fans up but always ends up prioritising his male "friendships" and gives even supporting male chars more screentime and importance than those fem chars. He just cares about his pretty boys at the end of the day and women are just aesthetically pleasing objects to him...

I can litterally list a good bunch of extremely popular kdramas with really popular main straight ships that still get talked about and called masterpieces while they all contain really gross homophobic "comedy" and terrible (and VERY obvious and on the nose) queer bait. But there's a completely female centric drama on TV after a billion light years with no forced heterosexual romance and sneaked-in popular male actors for clout, that's also happens to have a unique plot instead of capitalist propaganda girlboss "business" women or makjang revenge on cheating husbands and shit and suddenly everyone's shouting boycott and I hope no one watches so it flops.....Idk I think this is a bit hypocritical but whatever

Removing the female love interest and the lesbian romance completely from the script is inexcusably bad and the criticism is all valid BUT I'm gonna say something that ppl are not gonna like....
