Okay, I finally got caught up with the episodes. It seeems like Ep25 is going to be rather angsty... and I am unfortunately a sucker for it. I know HMH and Ai Mi are going to act THE HELL out of that scene!!
I am as confused as the comments about Li Mao. I would LIKE to think that he is just playing the single-man villain and not telling Wuyi or Jiayu anything to take on the faults for himself. I am simply holding onto the fact that he genuinely seems to want to cure Wuyi. It feels like a last sentiment of atonement to them before he goes down with his plans. BUT I'm not sure.. he's a hard character to read.
Yo I started this last night and I was so shocked seeing the AI intro that I fell asleep before even seeing their face cards ππ production crew played in our face like,,
I just started ep 1 and watched the ending. Its only 28 episodes but how much suffering, blood, angst did the…
It's very balanced in my opinion. Some suffering, some blood, some (romantic) angst. Nothing over the top for now. It has happy moments and humor too. The main driving point for me is really the plot + plot twists and how the ML's and FML's relationship develops.
Can anyone summarise for me basically what happened in ep3 & 4 simply? I am a bit confused about FL father…
I don't remember exactly what happened in those eps, so this maaay be a spoiler. Originally, he was pretending to be a good father because he wanted to use the FML for his political scheming (you'll see more of this soon).
[SPOILER]
The FML is not his real daughter; meanwhile, Li Mao is his real son. So, in order for his son to gain power as regent, he has to stop Jiayu and Li Mao from running away together. Of course, this would mean he needs to stop his warm fatherly facade with Jiayu, which he doesn't mind doing.
Wait ML already has crown Princess wife and ML has a child with her?
They are married on paper, politically, with no official wedding. He hasn't even met her prior to his return from the war. The child is also not his, nor is it the Crown Princess'. You'll see it all explained by ep6, I believe.
im currently on episode 10, can someone sopil me when does she falls in love with the ML ?
For me personally when she starts to let go of Li Mao, It starts with Ep10, when she rambles on about Wuyi in front of Li Mao's face Further falls for him from Ep15 Further trusts him from Ep17 And completely falls and confesses in Ep19
Even in eps before that, she has slowly opened up to the ML. I think throughout the following eps you'll watch, their feelings grow immensely. Trust, it'll be worth!!
Hold on i didnt know we can rate? I dont see that option
You can press the "Episodes" tab under the drama title on this page. Then, press the individual episodes and press on the stars to rate. Make sure to press save/submit!
Xiao Wuyi is the greenest flag!!! He knew Jiayu loved her freedom and wanted to let her decide her future, even if it meant letting her go. He was willing to love and support her from afar. But now that Jiayu confidently chose to walk the same path with him, he can allow himself to never let her go. Find yourself a man like Xiao Wuyi guys... π₯Ή
Many viewers likes kissing scenes so it's really a shame. The drama is really good.
Sighhh when will people realize love is more than kisses? The love and trust between Wuyi and Jiayu are already so obvious through their actions, words, body language, and eye contact. For me, that is more than enough to hook me in.
Not a single!!! Boring!!! Episode!!! This is crazy for me to say because historical dramas bore me so bad π. Every episode brings so much to the table; I love it. I LOVE how misunderstandings never drag, and the leads are both smart and reasonable. I think at this point in the drama, Wuyi and Jiayu trust each other the most, and nothing will tear this trust. I am so excited for these next 10 eps.
I feel like I keep on singing praises for this drama, but honestly, it hasn't been getting enough love. I wish more people gave it a chance; it is genuinely so so good π₯Ή.
