Yes it’s before this recent discussion, we spoke about Eunuch Kim and why he died when it was removed , I mentioned Buyeon’s situation then and I remember we also spoke about Master Seo reaching Hwansu( the equivalent to ice stone) yet he’s not around anymore ( as far as we know so far) but yes it’s been an ongoing topic for a few weeks now 🌸

Yes it makes sense as to why Jang Uk is able to easily control the ice stone, perhaps Buyeon didn’t know about the King’s star because she told Mudeok/ Naksu that No One can own it and if you gain something you lose something but it seems that only applies to everyone that wasn’t born under the King’s star 💫

Yeah and the the Shaman Queen’s Eunuch died after because apparently he didn’t know magic so I can’t see why Uk would die without it either. I actually mentioned about the fact that the Ice stone was what brought Buyeon to life and she never had it inside her but was able to live.

The seven supporting stars did appear when Uk was in that sky place then the ice stone fell. I think that’s how they can identify the King’s star.

She was wrong ( so far) again lol because we know Uk didn’t really loose her or anyone he is still friends with everyone that mattered to him.

I hope they pick up speed with Dangu and Cho Yeon as that’s one of my main disappointments,

That’s the thing regardless of what we thought, the writers had already planned not to include her, JSM filled in for another actress that was also only signed for 20 episodes. Remember they burned Naksu’s body in episode 2-3 or 4 ( early on) so it seems that the story was already written that way before it even got presented to the broadcasters , production team, directors etc for sales

Where did I say she is not pitiful being lost as a child. What I’m saying is maybe she was better off, just like me you are also assuming as we actually don’t know much about Buyeon The writers obviously did not give her a story. Jin HoGyeong in my opinion is not worthy as I’ve said before, using a child for their gifts is wrong. We don’t know if Buyeon lost her memories or not in actual truth.
She was supposed to be an exceptional Devine priestess that can sense energy, she knew how to find water even when it wasn’t close by that people in sari village thought she was lying that she’s blind according to reports from the merchant and from So Yi. She never tried to find her family? We don’t know.
I could say maybe she didn’t want to go home.
Ok so she trapped Naksu. She’s been in Jinyowon. We’ve seen her come forward before, why didn’t she come forward to let her sister or her mother know? She could have if she wanted to. She did at the mountains when Master Lee was there to watch the fight, she’s powerful and I feel if she could’ve at least say mother when Mudeok was in the room and picked up the blindfold.
I would hide from a mother that is willing to kill a servant girl for entertainment purposes too plus I believe that was when she actually died or almost died again and it was by her own mothers hand with the same ice stone that gave her life.

I have more of an issue with how Dangu and Cho Yeon story is going in part 2 because they actually had a story, now I’m not sure what’s happening with them individually or together, it’s just weird atm.

I truly believe Cho Yeon is deserving of being the leader of Jinyowon, she’s earned it .
Let’s see what they will give us when we get the appearance of the child version, if it’s another flashback with no solid explanation then I will decide based on that how to respond as for all we know she could’ve been only a relic based on even how the relic’s responded in the cave in part 1, one referred to her as the ice stone so let’s see babe. Fingers crossed they don’t just gloss it over.JSM only agreed to do part 1 so she was never going to continue in that body anyways. Let’s see ok🥰

It seems the writers never actually wrote any story for her as an individual character.

I respect your views as always but I must say how her mother would treat her is very relevant to my views especially knowing she would never live her own free life as I’ve said not long ago to @jjlew I’m hoping with the appearance of Young Buyeon, we will get some relevant answers because there’s got to be a reason for the child version of her and another thing is JSM didn’t continue the role so I’m not sure how they would do it all with 10 episodes as the story would have to change as to how Naksu (which has always been the MFL) got her burnt body back etc

The young actress that plays Buyeon filmed for Part 2 let’s hope we get some proper closure or understanding about the character’s because the fact that we keep seeing her as child had me curious from episode 20, let’s see🌸

Ok so the child you asked me to picture didn’t die, she grew up with an old lady who took care of her as far as we understand. I used to be one of the viewers that wanted her to reunite with her family but after seeing how HoGeong really is I don’t feel that way anymore. I have never really seen Buyeon as a character as such because we never got to know her so I don’t feel that connection with her, JSM played Mudeok which focused on Naksu being trapped in the body of Buyeon AKA Buyeon but we didn’t know her. It seems she chose to intervene in AOS we don’t know the reason because the writers hasn’t provided us with one.
This is a fantasy show about soul shifting etc and tbh if for instance I felt she deserved justice I would say she got it already by escaping all the pain and potential misery of being used by her own mother, I’m not cold and everyone here must realise that I’m non biased with characters even the ones I don’t necessarily agree with, I can still see the positives and if I allow myself I can even have pity on them for their actions as I don’t believe any of the entire characters are purely good they are all Grey characters .
In Buyer’s case I truly am ok with Her not being a subject to her mother as I loathe it more than her dying and that’s my honest truth.

I don’t think her mother deserves her and her mother needs to extend her love to Cho Yeon, even if Buyeon was there , Cho Yeon is almost non existent to HoGeong because Buyeon was a first born with Devine powers that’s not genuine love that’s ambition and the idea of clinging on to power which I find quite sad 😞

I mean c’mon Buyeon’s body is alive and she’s plotting to basically breed her to produce an heir how much sicker can a person be. So what would she have done if Buyeon was alive and she had lost her powers, would she treat her good?

Exactly. Well said, I really can’t understand the big rant over Buyeon if she was so powerful as they claimed yet she was couldn’t stop the shaman bells and was only hanging on to Naksu’s energy, it’s very clear who was most powerful in the end, I see it as it was her fate she existed only for the purpose of Naksu and Jang Uk, she was a product of the ice stone and she’s now taken another form of existence. That’s how I see it tbh

I don’t see her as a victim because she’s the one that trapped Naksu inside her body.
