You misunderstood the whole show I’m afraid. Park Jin Never treated Uk like Shit once. Park Jin Knew Jang Us’s fate and real story behind his birth. Jang Uk would’ve been the biggest target and therefore would’ve made him the most dangerous had he known about his birth from an early age. Jang Gang warned everyone not to open his energy gate and Jang Gang was the Gwanju, they couldn’t have broken that rule. Rewatch part 1 every single scene where Park Jin turned Uk away and see the pain in his eyes when he did. Jang Uk is very determined and so park Jin had to be firm with him, Uk is now an adult and he knows the truth because Park Jin shared the information because it’s time and Jang Gang is dead so he was no longer under that pact or whatever. Uk respects him and love him so why do you have an issue when Uk clearly doesn’t have any, he’s mature and he clearly understands.
JANG UK is the most difficult and complex character. He showed the most development. Mentally amd emotionally. He…
I would say they both suffered the same as comparing what each individual has gone through is not the actual point. The actual point is how an individual feel. No one in the show including Jang Uk never mentioned Rape, it’s a soul shifting show so I doubt they view as that and if they do, what do we call being in someone else’s body yet kissing passionately and potentially even having sex, those organs belong to someone else who is still in her body they might not know, but we do yet we cheer.
Naksu on the other hand actually witnessed her father slaughtering her whole village and then killed while she watched. Uk didn’t witness that shit and what he heard growing up were rumours and they actually didn’t really bother him, his main issue was his energy being blocked and that’s not a huge problem as so many people in Daeho doesn’t even have magic energy to begin with so it was more of a status issue. He was well cared for and got unconditional love so I’m going to have to disagree with this particular post.
It is a big Miss tbh because she actually didn’t get any character development whatsoever, giving up power was considerate and compassionate, however they were in a situation where her friends needed her. Character growth would be for her to have full powers, like Uk does but making choices of how to use these powers to prove yourself, that’s development and growth, not a person who doesn’t have a choice, it’s stupid and lacking of common sense and structure.😏
Jin Mu stated he had no intention or interest to soul shifting especially knowing the Soul Ejectors were cured…
I agree there are many plot holes. Now here’s the thing about cults, secret societies , Religious organisations etc( even in RL) The leader usually lead without much physical requirements, it’s always through psychological approaches. Within his Secret society, there are senior mages that already know they need the ice stone in order to get what they’re hoping for( immortality) hence why they are waiting. The other elders that switched bodies did so when Jin Mu had the Ice stone within reach and remember, Jin Mu was not the official leader it was Shaman Choi and the plan was slightly different then. Sorcery is banned in Daeho regardless, the plan was to take over Jinyowon ( still is) and Songrim as the ban was put in place by Songrim’s founder to begin with. Also please bare in mind One do not have Power if there’s no one to control,( if all the small people die , there’s no point in power) Same as a religious cult leader manages all the time to get masses to comit suicidal acts while the leader doesn’t engage ( brain washing) it’s just a sad reality of how our minds can be so vulnerable (that’s Facts).
The scene where Jin Mu said it was episode 20 when he was about to use the bells on Naksu.( I think) The bell is not the only problem, what happens when they run out of humans to drain their energies? What Happens when they’re no more young mages left to shift into? When the mages( Jin Mu and CO) shift into local people without magic then they would run wild even quicker because The soul energies wouldn’t match so therefore The Ice Stone is most relevant to soul shifting . As far as I’m concerned Jin Mu got the best story line, as in consistency and logic.
I doubt they’ll show her fight and if they do it’s probably gonna be a very short scene, which is just a disappointing as if they don’t . To show her fight at the end will only make the viewers crave for more when they have no intention of continuing the story in the future.
Oh, another dream induced thought. Why hasn’t Jin Mu soul shifted earlier? Perfect time would have been 3 years…
Jin Mu stated he had no intention or interest to soul shifting especially knowing the Soul Ejectors were cured by Shaman Choi.
They all want Ice stone ( that’s the goal) No point in in soul shifting when they don’t have an ice stone to keep them from running wild. That’s why they’re trying so hard to bring a drought so they can do the ritual so more ice stones can come back to Daeho like it did 200 years ago.
Because I’ve watched 28 episodes of a powerless woman, trapped inside of another powerless woman, both are supposed to be the most Powerful women. It’s stupid at this point. I’m so sick of the lack of loyalty within friendships in this show. Seo Yul and master Lee’s logic not to tell Jang Uk is the most pathetic excuse I’ve ever heard and so much more. Yeah I’m not very happy about most of this series. I’ll watch the 2 last episodes but I don’t really care much how it ends because it doesn’t really matter at this stage.
