You could be right but I think it could play a part in separating the souls like it separated the blood worm from Seo yul, I think that was done for a reason beyond what we saw. If they do that then Uk uses his Hwanso as well to restore Naksu ( not sure what body though) it wouldn’t be sorcery as both souls are still alive, he’d be doing good by saving both. The show of course is fantasy so they gave it a fantasy element making Jang Uk chosen as the one to be gifted the power of the heavens ( that’s why he was given the gift of the ice stone)
If you watch the scene again you will see the seven stars and the big bright star( 8th star) then the ice stone appears, he picks it up without energy and his body absorbs it that’s because it’s a personal gift from the heavens. So basically for the biggest brightest star to appear the seven stars will show first the the gift star. So therefore they’re not people. He already rules the earth with the blessing of the Heavens.
