I’m afraid we won’t get proper answers also and I doubt they’ll continue the story because they don’t know how to tell a decent story. This could’ve been one of the best shows coming out of Korea but it lacks a good plot.
You cannot create a powerful force and nothing to challenge it. When Jang UK’s character was created the needed to create another entity with similar powers to fight against him. He’s the most powerful yet not truly feared by his enemies. Yes they managed to secure it in Jinyowon , the thing is Hong sisters have all these grand ideas but no clue about storytelling. The Priestess has a weaker body from the beginning and it’s Naksu’s energy that kept the body alive and it also kept Buyeon’s soul alive because of the spell in episode 20,
Naksu’s energy is highly connected to the lake, we’ve seen that more than once in part 1, again that’s another reason why the body and Buyeons soul survived because of the surge of Energy seems to fuel Naksu.
