The Turtle scenes are not pointless and neither is the blood worm parasite storyline
There are hidden lessons and hints in the turtle interaction scenes and They relate to The CP and the choices he needs to make, pay attention to these scenes and you will understand the character’s arcs better. If you missed the lessons I’ll give them to you.
The blood parasite is leading up to a revelation most likely as we see Jin HoGyeong explaining to one of her students or guards ( whatever she is) that a bird will need to remove it which is Either Naksu ( if the new possible theories hold) or a relic bird regardless it needs to be a bird because it eats worms so the point is they are not irrelevant to the story but indeed clever Easter egg hunt so I suggest you start your hunt😀

I have no concrete idea of how it works so far but based on Master Lee’s explanation to HoGeong I’d say it’s complicated 😂🤣.
He clearly said Naksu’s energy is reforming the body to resemble the soul so I don’t know fully what is going on.

🤔 this show does give a new set of confusing and often contradictory things to deal with each week as we wait for the next episode 😂

Rewatch season 2 episode two the beginning

Yes from our perspective and also HoGeong but notice that Master Lee and Park Jin completely disregard Jang Gang being UK’s father it’s a different rule because Master Lee didn’t say anything when HoGeong made those claims to him about Buyeon band this whole genetic mess when it’s a show about Souls. It’s a messy plot unless we get a valid explanation in the future episodes regarding this matter

Episode 2 I think after he rescued her from marrying that slime balls .U.K. told her after looking in her eyes , she said she’s never heard such a thing before and Uk told her he’s the only person that’s seen it.

I disagree it makes sense that he doesn’t know for sure because it’s not exactly clear as she sees energy he didn’t really have that experience with Mudeok/Naksu

U.K. is confused when it comes to Naksu especially in this scenario because even she herself is confused atm, this situation is a lot more complex because it’s not impossible for her to see other people’s stories as she’s presented to him as a priestess so again it’s understandable that he is unsure. So Yi knew Buyeon and Jin Mu told her this new Buyeon bears the resemblance of Naksu , Uk doesn’t know either.
Yul also knew Naksu and felt they had met before so again that situation is different from Uk who has never seen her.

Yes HG is the body’s mother lol. This needs to be made clear soon because atm it’s opposite rules . Let’s see if the body rejects the soul or not because the memories are flooding in now, we still don’t fully understand the flowers that’s blooming in her eyes so let’s see

Yes I also think the volcano bird is a phoenix, I need to check that, it’s also giving a GOT fire and Ice vibes ( Jon Ice and Dany fire) especially since Uk was resurrected by the Ice Stone merely and he’s always cold, Naksu brings the heat that warms him.

Yes he said he’s using Naksu’s energy to save Buyeon body and that Energy ( Naksu’s) will recreate the body to resemble her own original body.

I haven’t fully figured him out but I’m pretty confident that Uk would’ve suspected him by now but instead Uk follows his instructions and Buyeon would have picked up on his energy if it was negative I’m assuming

Master Lee said the same thing so it’s not o Park Jin and Jang Gang’s presumptions anymore
