Lee explained that Naksu did not use AOS to enter the body of Buyeon so I guess some weird explanation would come as to why their case is different from UK’s otherwise it’s a Huge Plot Hole 🕳️.

So Jang Uk has the connection with the Ice stone, is it possible that Yeong has connections with The fire bird?
She refers to herself over and over as the baby bird on the top of the tree and she carries the heat to ward off the cold waiths from Uk. Will Yeong fully hatch at some point? Will the water Dragon ( possibly Uk) need to put out the fire or will they keep the balance in each other?

I’m back again 🥰 I just rewatched the scene and this is my full understanding.
After HoGeong said when the bird hatches out of its shell the world will suffer a great Drought ( which we know before this conversation)
Uk says ‘And Jinyowon will fall’, he means Jinyowon will fall from its power as it’s the one of, or probably the most dangerous thing in Daeho especially for the mages, Jinyowon would have failed it’s duty to protect everyone from such chaos. Jang Uk Assured her he doesn’t plan on taking it so it means it can be taken even if you’re not a Jin. Again Jinyowon is sort of a prison to lock away dangerous relics etc.
HG then says why didn’t Master Lee come see it himself and Uk told her Master Lee doesn’t trust her because she unveiled the ice stone once before and she then explained that it was a choice she made to save Buyeon when she was pregnant and she then used the fact that Jang Gang didn’t return the ice stone and it’s now inside UK saving his life( double standard, tactics) and if you really pay attention to her tone you realise that Buyeon is not overly important for anyone except the family holding on to its power as I mentioned above. Key words are ‘HER DUTY is to protect Jinyowon so it’s a family pact more like but again note that no one except HG is concerned about This.

Remember we spoke about this JSR bloodline thing over a week ago and we both agreed that maybe JSR probably cast a spell in that regards.
Now Back to Master Lee and UK. Master Lee asked Uk to go to Jinyowon to check on the bird as you’ve said above Master Seo Gyeong and JSR main reason for building Jinyowon was to lock up that volcanic bird, yes Jinyowon would fall but not just Jinyowon Daeho because it will dry out the whole land so yes Jinyowon would fall and so would the mages because the mages gets their energy from the lake’s water. JHG is demonstrating the eagerness for a daughter ( first born) because that’s where the Divinity ( strongest priestess power) comes from( hereditary)
So yes it’s important for Jin family to carry on their strength as mages.
Also note that Jin Mu is not worried about that aspect because there are other ways to get things done, he also stated in episode 5 or 6 that Not Even HoGeong can take the bird out . But he wants to take control of Jinyowon so the point is that it’s not impossible to break whatever spell that’s on Jinyowon without it falling, However the first daughter strength thing would become irrelevant and the power the Jins have in Daeho as priestesses would be wiped out, that’s JHG biggest fear as she would feel like she failed her family’s duty.


Seems Naksu’s/Yeong’s might regain her own powers as she’s regaining her memories. Let’s see if she’ll be able to also regain and use the body’s divine powers as well because Master Lee wasn’t anxious to save the priestess body and I’m pretty sure it would have been a bigger deal to him when he first went to JHG, he only did it because she begged him to.🌸

She’s a soul shifter but she didn’t choose Buyeon I think is what master Lee was trying to explain to HoGeong

I think it’s the other way around if buyeon Devine powers come first then the memories then the body rejects, HoGeong loses, if the memories comes fist and Naksu piwers( not buyeon Devine powers) then maybe she’ll ok I’m guessing here because maybe her memories will then fully own the body. I honestly don’t know but the scene with her and Uk that seems to be a private wedding with Master Lee hasn’t come yet so let’s see

He could not have saved her back then because she was strongly devoted to avenging her father’s death that she witnessed. There was nothing no one could’ve said to her to abolish that plan at that time, she only found out her father was a soul shifter long after she sent Yul on his merry ways. Remember Jin Mu took her as a very young child brainwashing into believing what she saw was her loving daddy getting murdered. So nah it’s always only been in the head of a rejected Seo Yul.

Maybe she’s locked this time around since this part 2 is obsessed with parallels

He is a fucking psycho, he got rejected by her as a teenager with a sword pointed at him yet he still thinks he could’ve saved her from then, he had no chance even then because she found out who he was . Yul is delusional.

Perhaps but I need to understand that if Naksu’s power comes out and Buyeon Devine powers decides to come too what happens then.
