I genuinely hated this drama!

I like the actors. But the story is so bad that makes the characters intolerable, and the drama unwatchable. I will not watch anything from this same writer anymore. I feel like I've wasted so many hours of my life putting up with this nonsense drama that I had to skipped through so many episodes. I am done at episode 22. I really don't care about the ending.

Entertaining but very frustrating!

So many times I wanted to write a review because I got so frustrated but then I decided not to. Finally I can't help it anymore so here it goes. I like the drama series for its comedy. There are definitely great moments. But the main character, he's 25 years old. He acts like a little kid that is way too slow to act. Instead of asking questions, he just stands there and calls out names. Aside from his ability to see ghosts, there's nothing special about him. Nice? Not really, he doesn't really go out there and help free spirits. He sees them all this life, but yet, at times he's totally fine, and at times he's all afraid. The consistency of characterizations in this drama series is just terrible. The most frustrating part of this series is during situations when someone is hurt. They all just standing around and calling for the ambulance takes quite a bit of time. The emotion that goes into seeing someone passing out or injured feels as though not there.
Situations and storyline are just very inconsistent and frankly not many things make sense. The main story is not bad but everything else that supports it is not really there unfortunately. As mentioned above, it's a relaxing and entertaining series to watch but if we were to pay attention to the details and the conversations as well as characterizations, we will get very frustrated. Just a few personal opinion. Enjoy the show!

The writing of this drama is one of the worst.

I like the casts. Story is terrible and I have to agreed with many of the reviews here that it is extremely lazy story writing. The first couple of episodes I was quite entertained and so decided to watch on. The more I watched the more I became upset by how the 1 criminal made every character in this drama look like fools. I especially dislike the old man character (a high power angel) who actually seemed and acted more like a devil. I would have enjoyed this drama much more if it was more of fantasy comedy or fantasy romantic where you just feel good watching. I don't want to spoil this for everyone as we all have our own tastes so I am sure others will enjoy this. This is just my own personal opinion, and after all, it's my review. I loved all the casts and hated all the characters.

Like it a lot. Definitely will watch season 2.

I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. What makes this drama so satisfying is its central message that every action has consequences and, sooner or later, karma finds its way back to those who deserve it. Watching justice unfold, whether through redemption or retribution, gives each story a rewarding emotional payoff that keeps you invested.
The drama starts exceptionally strong with its first story arc, which is easily the most impactful and emotionally gripping. The writing is sharp, the conflicts feel personal, and the lessons delivered leave a lasting impression. It sets a very high standard that immediately hooks the audience.
As the series progresses, the pacing slows somewhat with the later stories. They aren't quite as intense or memorable as the opening arc, and some episodes take more time to build their themes. While this slight dip in momentum is noticeable, it never takes away from the overall enjoyment of the series. The stories still carry meaningful messages and continue exploring the idea that people eventually face the consequences of their choices.
What I appreciate most is that the show doesn't rely solely on dramatic actions, twists. Instead, it focuses on human nature, personal growth, accountability, and the quiet satisfaction of seeing balance restored and yeah, those flying and slapping scenes are perfection. There's something deeply gratifying about watching characters learn difficult lessons and seeing justice served especially with those who feel entitled as if everyone in this world owes them something.
Overall, Teach You a Lesson (2026) is a satisfying watch from beginning to end. Although the latter half doesn't quite match the incredible strength of its opening story, the drama remains engaging, thoughtful, and emotionally rewarding. If you enjoy anthology-style stories centered on morality, consequences, this series is definitely worth watching.
