It never happened. Only TSJ visited Lao Mu before he died. All were dead except Tian Er who was in her 80s when XY met her again in Qing Shui Town. Tian Er and Chuan Zi had several children and grandchildren. Ma Zi and his wife looked after Lao Mu until he died and they too had children and grandchildren. The reunion was sad as Tian Er only recognised her when XY turned her back to leave the place.
Get ready for a box of tissues for that scene if they have it in the drama.

XY also annoys Ah Nian. In the end, Ah Nian went above her by just ignoring the miserable woman.
CX at least was able to manage his harem without issues.

XL should have seized the moment when he sabotaged XY's marriage and just told the adopted father that he had done enough and would love to enjoy his spring time after making a deal with TSJ to supply the losing troops for the next 37 years!
