Season 2 has more Chang Xuan's sad scenes. I cannot wait for S2.

It's a comedy but the actors have to be as good as Yang Zi. I feel Yang Zi is the only one who can do both comedy and sad drama theme at the same time.

She was so funny in Ashes of Love.

No wonder XY's mother insisted CX to protect her because XY's real father killed a lot of people so she would always be exposed to danger.

Xiao Yao getting killed in Episode 29! Can't wait for that episode.

Ah Nian becomes CX's empress once the Grand Emperor abdicates his throne to him. Both countries were fighting against each other so the union was political.

The novel ends with Xiao Yao and TSJ leave Xuan Yan Castle. Nothing about CX having children with any of the women in his harem.

CX doesn't like the women in his harem. He barely spends his time with them.

She was a hostage princess in Xuan Yan so she is always insecure like CX. She hates XY to the core.

She and her bad tricks are a good side story.

Jumping from one ship to another.

She tried to kill XY so CX completely ignored her so other concubines did the same. Until her brother, Feng Long, died protecting CX. CX promised her dying brother to retain her position as his Empress.

Xin Yue is an ambitious woman. If CX is not a prince, she will ignore him completely.

CX actually hates Xin Yue in the novel because in his eyes, she stole the empress position from Xiao Yao.

Me - 10 every time ZWY's emotional makes me weep.

These two are opportunistic women. They deserve their bad ending.

Season 2.

In the novel, CX will spend one month every year with Ah Nian. XY thins at least, Ah Nian has CX for herself for one month. Unlike Xin Yue and others in the Middle Plains.

So, Ah Nian has the best deal as CX will always give her a special treatment compared to others.

CX is violated by Xin Yue. Yuck. I hate Xin Yue now.

Of all the female characters, I cannot stand Xin Yue.

FFB/ XL senses something is going between FFYY and TSH.

In the novel, CX dislikes every woman he married even Xin Yue. Except Ah Nian because she is an idiot.
