Agree. Almost all female actresses who paired with him except Tiffany Tang always killed his dramas or due to poor direction or poor script.

I struggled to finish TPG and when I did, it was a relief. Meng really killed this drama as well as poor directing and plots.

Li Chengyin never mistreated Xiao Feng. He simply couldn't reveal his feelings towards her but Xiao Feng misunderstood everything LCY had done for her to save her life from the evil empress and his concubine.

XF is just a pretty princess who never learns about how to be a political bride.

Xing Fei's Lost Track in Time? Jing Chao stole the show entirely. Xing Fei was good but JC totally eclipsed all of the actors in that drama.
