I also wrote what I consider BORDERING grooming is the fact he wrote at least a letter when he was almost 30 during his military service when she was an underage kid. Fact he confirmed and explained was done as 'a friend' and I think adults must not do in any circumstances when not being in the family.

When Naoya told Takaaki he was gonna start working, we could see nervousness all over his face: Naoya was about to go back to society and meet new people. However, we see he enjoys him being happy and quickly overcomes this!
It is really interesting how they open up to each other, change their attitude, find the other's behavior even more attractive and reform their relationship.
