I've watched many japanese dramas and movies already but still felt like a newbie. Only got to know and appreciate Yui Aragaki after watching Code Blue this March. Now I'm binge-watching her other dramas and landed here. I want to regret watching it. It hurts so much 😠hahaha
So far, are there any intimate scenes aside from the FL's dream in Ep. 2? I just prefer watching a platonic kind of love. Something about work romance or helping each other achieve their dreams. I don't mind short kisses as long as it's not really kinda sensual.
Such a shame that over a decade have passed until I decided to watch this wonderful drama.
Japan is great not only in producing life dramas but also in medical genre. I first watched Unnatural then Radiation House and Tokyo MER before Code Blue. I love all these series. But among them, Code Blue has the most engaging characters and greatest medical procedure. I don't know how accurate it is but I'm just so amazed watching. Their relationship are also something I dream to have in my workplace.
I hope more people will get to watch it. As for me, I will never forget this experience.
Late 90s to early 2000s, to around 2005 - was the golden age of japanese dramas, after say 20005ish, japanese…
I stayed watching jdramas after that era and I could say that many modern jdramas are still worth watching. Some are even better. Code Blue in 2008, Mother in 2010, Woman in 2013, Dear Sister in 2014, and so on.
I love jdramas and I want more people to see its beauty. Here are some of my favorite modern jdramas that you could try:
1. Yugure ni Te wo Tsunagu 2. Rebooting 3. On a Starry Night 4. Fight Song 5. First Love: Hatsukoi
For movies: 1. Tapestry 2. The Brightest Roof in the Universe
Guess you had already watched it by now. But, yes. It's better to watch the first season to appreciate the characters…
I see. Well, this season is better than the first for me. And there are flashbacks of what happened at the beginning of episode 1 so you could still catch up. I hope you could give it a try :)
Is it necessary to watch season 1 before watching this
Guess you had already watched it by now. But, yes. It's better to watch the first season to appreciate the characters more. It's a story of their growth.
Seriously, this show deserves higher rating. The personality of the FL is different from the characters of other dramas out there. Their conversations are natural too. So glad that I gave it a try. I don't want it to end.
I thought it would be boring but no! It's one of the best jdramas I've seen. I love their natural conversations like it really happens in real life. Definitely a must watch. Everyone should watch it!
Tsuzaki is also my type. His character is realistic. I myself had a classmate and crush that is like him.

Finished watching Code Blue from S1 to this movie just within this month. Undoubtedly the best medical drama.
