I think this episode some of the fluff was overshadowed by Kawi's stress and worry. I feel like this was intentional.…
Yes admitting your needs especially regarding physical intimacy, is a lot to expect maturity wise for a newfound first relationship. I just didn't like how Kawi had dismissed and lied about his worries when they were very obviously a problem for him, since it'd lasted the whole episode. Yet with the ending, it seemed like they'd rushed to it being "solved" as if the issue was no longer relevant. I do really like that this is a topic for their first issues, it seems very natural, I just really hope that they intend to expand more on that in ep final eps as it felt rushed and as if it were filler topic since all of the other issues discussed on this show have had a lot of thought and depth put into it. It made this one feel off and not enough of a conclusion to the issue (for where they had gotten to canonly rn) when it's a very interesting and real issue! I totally acknowledge that this could be a translation issue and I liked that we were shown Max and Kawi's vastly different takes on sex but to me it came off as more pro-sex than sex positive which I don't think is what they'd intended. Don't love the taste that leaves in my mouth when Kawi seems to be portrayed as being somewhere on the asexual spectrum, having no keen interest in sex besides it being with Pisaeng whom it seems to matter to. And Pisaeng obviously matters to him; I mean he's definitely physically attracted to Pisaeng, it just doesn't seem like he has the urge or want to act on it. I'm just not sure how I feel about the influence or "pressure" that could potentially be there. Especially since there hasn't been any communication or clarification for the audience as of yet. Haha thanks for listening to my thoughts! 😊
I've gotta say that ep10 was definitely by far, my least favorite episode of BMF thus far. And that's despite the fact that each of the parental scenes were phenomenally well written and had me sobbing at each and every single one! That being said, I did enjoy it and liked that they'd humanize the characters and showcased the nuanced trials and tribulations of a new, first relationship but it wasn't done well enough. I was disappointed with PisaengKawi's relationship trajectory this ep since it felt very lazily done, especially for basically having a whole episode dedicated to the topic. It had a light aura but fluff can still be handled with more thought. The issues that this episode dealt with, that seemingly got resolved by th end, weren't even acknowledged; there was no progression or first steps taken, it was just brushed off. Though flawed, which is a good thing, PisaengKawi do also have the healthy tendencies and supportive foundation for their relationship, but as a couple that has been based on wholesome-ness and their bond, I'd have hoped that they'd have been more connected and emotional intimate (honest or even vulnerable); to start taking steps into understanding each other's minds and thoughts as individuals. It's true that it's early in their relationship but they both certainly seem committed already, tending to and caring for each other physical needs (acts of service), as well as comfort and guidance when issues (aka drama) arise but those seem to be the only times that they've openly communicated in any way, so far.
uncut version aren't censored, so it's better to watch dramas on Bilibili or myasiantv. And by censored I mean…
Ep1 I only watched the uncut version but I didn't see any content that would need cutting; and for ep2 I watched both the cut (YouTube) and uncut version (IQIYI) and they were both the exact same. I'm assuming the cutting of scenes will come more into effect later on when things get more spicy✨️
Is there any singular source (or even a couple) that gives pretty prompt updates on 23.5's progress? Like sometimes there are fandom specific accounts that'll update on the bts and will update any new information the same day, but I haven't found any for this one yet (I don't have twitter or follow the director or any of the staff so mdl is pretty much my most consistent "source" rn)
Louis character Pat really gives me suspicious vibes I feel like he hired or persuaded Joke to do what he is doing…
Aha I felt that too but I wasn't sure if it was just bad acting on Louis' part or sus of the actual character lol. I might also still be biased on him after what they did to his character in the Eclipse..so idk🙄
Which is better? between us or this? should I watch both? Both has happy ending?
Until we meet again is a lot better than Between Us in my opinion. UWMA's characters are more dynamic, consistent and have more character integrity; never mind the intriguing storyline. While BU feel flat especially towards the end (Idk if this is a spoiler but since UWMA is the original, BU tried to tweak a plot point out two which I didn't like) however, BU has more spicy scenes.
He has also made Lovely writer which is also a good bl though ?
I've gotten a few episodes into Something in my Room, and it's better than HA so far in my opinion. There's potential there and a few intriguing aspects but it's oh so very slow
I feel the same way and I've only made it 10mins into ep2. I thought that the first episode had some promising aspects to it but I'm so bored that unfortunately, I'm considering dropping it already.
So for Thai dramas, do they always do the trailer/teaser filming AND the promotional press before they start filming?…
Yeah a lot of thai production companies announce their whole series lineup all at once (so all of their projects for the upcoming year). They do this to garner fan interest but also to get sponsors to help fund the series! So it's not uncommon for actors to talk/promote their different projects in an interview. If I remember correctly, last year all of the series were announced sometime in October or November so I'm assuming Dew would've been promoting Home School, which is currently airing!
Yeah I’m not going to be watching the final episode. I just know it’s going to be a waste of time and I have…
I mean my expectations were incredibly low so I really was surprised at how much I enjoyed the first 10 mins; mostly for the GL. It's basically just LomfonTian (done kinda meh but good acting on Suar's part) and NaraDream. There was also a decent closing montage of the couples separately, if you cared about any of them, but yeah the rest was pretty damn unbearable.
This has "Fantasy" and "Sitcom" listed in the Genres. Someone cares to explain?
I've only watched the first season so far but the style's very sitcom-sque and well, the s1 finale ended with Punn casually taking a UFO somewhere (home I think? ) and there was this scene in space. So I don't doubt that they could add in some pretty ridiculous fantasy elements lol
