what does it mean actually?
It's just something that GeminiFourth says when they do something sweet or fanservice-y. To make fun of the fanservice expectations.

Mommies (what GemFot calls their shippers/fans that are usually older than them), khit la = dead. Because we're dying of cuteness lol

2gether and Be My Favorite are similar
So far, this is just a different mashup of all of dem tropes. Ngl I was disappointed with this first ep but hey I'll give it a few more eps to see if it can hold its own and stand out in any way. Hell- I was meh about MSP until ep4 and now it's one of my favs

They should start filming soon(ish)? At least that's the scuttlebutt on Twitter. So the drama itself could come…
Ok so the production estimate hadn't changed. the release of this pilot trailer confused me lol

Title Cherry Magic
It says that this is the pilot trailer, which would mean this is the concept trailer that should've came out 7 months ago with the test of gmmtv's 2023 lineup, right?
I know that apparently they were having copyright issues but I swear I'd seen some sort of concept trailer already for Cherry Magic with this whole cast; and yet I can't find anything on YouTube. Am I going crazy? Did I hallucinate it? I think that's unlikely since I've never seen TayNew in a project together... if you have any idea what I might be mentioning, please reply to me, I feel like I'm going crazy!

Anyways, does anyone know when the actual show might come out? Like have they started filming yet and if so, what Q are they on? I'd heard it's expected by the end of the year/ possibly beginning of next year but there've been some conflicting answers.

Title La Pluie
I really liked this episode. I do think that the characters seemed to push the sacredness of soulmates a bit too much but luckily that hadn't shifted Tai's pov. He's actually handling it all very well and seems to have a good grip and insight on his emotions and world view. He's ofc sad and cried but he's taking what's happened and learned/ learning from it and living in reality; looking at it from the bigger picture; if anything, I don't think the ending of ep10 was enough to show us Tai's struggling with the breakup. On the other hand, Phat's very much still struggling with his own emotions and life. I like how Dream's his friend but does give him the understanding from Tai's POV, that's a very emotionally well balanced character and is insight that Phat himself is missing. I do empathize with Phat and I understand it from his side, while knowing his fully character so far, I don't think I'd like to be friends with him, I by no means hate him; I just don't think he's right for Tai anymore and think that Tai deserves better. I do think that the show's handling Phat's side with a bit more dramatic flare then needed (that bouquet drop- also we've never seen Tai at that shop before and he obvs didn't know Phat was coming, but Phat obvs knew Tai'd he there so how the hell did he know for sure? Kinda creepy.)
I absolutely love a lot of the moment we got this ep: the sad, supportive brotherly talk and Tai's coffee shop conversation with Lomfon. It really does show that with the right type of person, who's able to be reciprocal with him, Saengtai's fully capable of communicating, forgiving and understanding. The brothers' relationship really is the backbone of the show and I'm glad that they've acknowledged that with. Idk why Tian has that towl on his head, bc his hair's not wet, but I can wholeheartedly say that it perfectly encapsulated how he was feeling then and added a bunch to the scene lol. That's so weird to say.
I loved that Tai's staying true to character and being a thoughtful, open and caring friend. It's nice to see that consistency. I love the obvious care, respect and empathy that Tai and Lomfon have for each other, how supportive they are of each other and how even during a tough situation, they're able to be honest, communicate and crack a smile. As for Lomfon, it is really difficult to figure out and properly label and differentiate feelings, I'm so glad that they're showing that because it's not shown enough; it's just sad that it had to hurt Tian.
From Tai's disposition about the chaotic breakup and from how it's being framed, I'm thinking that the soulmate-ness isn't so much about being each other's romantic soulmates but rather leading you to someone that you need to meet to further your in growth in life. Hence Saengtai's parents getting together, having children, still being good friends and loving each despite being divorced soulmates. Same with Phat and Tai, Phat helped Tai grow, learn and leave his shell a bit. Taught him that there's more complications in love than he'd previously thought; like with his parents' marriage. It would also explain Lomfon's tie to Tai (and potentially Phat) as well. His feelings and connection to Tai, helped him learn and grow into understanding himself; which is something that he'd really been seeking. I believe that the "soulmate" tether, is more so just a person you need to meet for your necessary growth and guidance in your life. And frankly, that's beautiful.
It was a bit rough around the edges but it was also a beautiful way to bring the family aspect, which was a big one, full circle with a peaceful closure. I was tearing up the whole damn time, with the wedding vows, the stepdad making the statement that Tai is his son now too while being so compassionate and understanding of what the guy needs even to he'd never met him prior, the parents finally shedding light on their personal relationship and Tian calling their new stepdad into the hug. I'm glad that they'd acknowledged the fact that the soulmate bond can transform and can also be platonic. The parents had the right intent, that the marriage is between two people and that they did not overly involve their children in their issues but they had gone to the other extreme and completely left their children out of it and in the dark. They didn't include their children at all in that healthy communication and conversation. There's a lot left up to interpretation but ig they'd fought/argued mostly when it was raining, hence why they other 3 siblings had a clue on it and weren't as distraught and blindsided. The deafness aspect, along with both parents actually trying to conceal it from Tai specifically, led to Saengtai being completely oblivious to it.
I do however have a problem with the way they're trying to integrate that newfound insight into Tai's current situation with Phat. The insight pointed to growth, the love and care that can be present despite not being right for each other, being on different paths- the teaser then shows Tai running after Phat; and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, talking it out and clearing the air will only do them good (if they can reach that point), it seems incredibly romantically coded. Which which was the opposite of this episode's message. My main concern is that for the finale, they'll try to push the overly romantic tones which had been present in all of the episodes before ep10. If the the focus is on saving their romantic soulmate, meant-to-be relationship- like the teaser seems to suggest- that would be the wrong approach and tbh would give me whiplash from the 180Β° switch from the messaging this episode. I hope that Tai is trying to reach out and find Phat to mend their relationship bond and come to a mutual understanding with each other as two separate individuals before trying to figure out if they can save the romantic relationship. While I personally don't ship them together anymore, I do hope that they're able to end on good terms. Maybe just leaving it on good terms and a hopeful note is my ideal ending?
I need more of LomfonTian's story, maybe Lomfon's the reason why Tian didn't help his mother set up her wedding. Hopefully they were sorting thing out, if not then I'll be needing to see the closing end of their arc in the finale. I'm sm more invested in them than the main couple.

Ikr? I guess it was a conscious decision for a more "retro" vibe. It is kinda weird..
Same. I guess we'll have to wait until the next couple of episodes... if your eyes can take it

Ya Joke is WAY too much like Kluen and not enough like Joong, for my taste. Joong himself gives of golden retriever energy which I'd honestly love seeing him in that kind of a more dynamic role

Aha thank you for such a high title, I will wear it with pride 😁
But fr, I'm just disappointed that right now, I couldn't really care less about any of the characters. The way they'd introduced the events and characters was pretty bland. I'm holding onto hope for future episodes but I normally don't have any issue with relating/connecting with characters :/

In interviews, at fanmeets and in their LOL Dum Dum performance, their chemistry is FIRE. However, unfortunately, I have yet to see even a fraction of that chemistry portrayed onscreen in their series.... I was hoping that HA would change that. Still holding onto hope for when the characters get their inevitable (hopefully) character development.

if I needed to review first EP with one word it would be - plain. storyline is nothing new but you can still do…
Yeah, I agree with everything you'd mentored and similarly, my world would be: bland.
I do see potential in it, so I hope that as we progress through more episodes, it can step up to the task.

Title 23.5
This has nothing to do with the series but I heard Gemini and fourth will get a new series as leads?
If you mean as leads in a new series in 2023 then no. That was just a rumour going around when people weren't sure if they'd keep GemFot in 23.5, in which they'd be taken out and giving their own series. As of rn they haven't showed us anything to prove that right since GemFot's already done some sponsorships with MilkLove.
If you mean in next year's lineup then yeah it's very likely that they will with just how popular they are; it'd be dumb of gmmtv if they didn't. But in August 2023 GeminiFourth is having their own concert thing, kind of like LOL fest but just the two of them versus the 16 of them at LOL.
