There should really be a Netori tag on this Drama. The main leads being cheating scum is a triggering issue for…
You know it's a gay romance; just stop watching as soon as you see one of them has a girlfriend if you're so easily triggered. Life is hard, make it easier on yourself.
But, of course, one of the lads is not gay, but has only become gay for a special one like five seconds ago, which…
Bright's surprise orgy isn't at all unbelievable; he groomed Farm into accepting nonsense & a common tactic of groomers is to put people into situations where it's awkward/hard to say no, and then afterwards point out that the victim didn't say no as proof of their innocence.
Knock explained pretty clearly the reasons he stayed with his girlfriend. As far as he was aware, she hadn't done anything wrong while he'd repeatedly cheated on her, so he felt guilty. You don't need marriage vows to have a conscience, especially in a place where gay marriage wasn't even legal when this show was produced. On top of that though, Knock's internalized homophobia made him believe staying with his girlfriend was the right/normal thing to do.
Half a decade later and I'm still salty about Season 1 Farm. Poor little innocent boy gets put through so much, only for his ending to be as a greasy pseudo-predator going after high school boys on a twisted "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" arc. Like, in no way is Doctor Bright someone he should look up to or emulate at this point. I never got around to watching Season 2, I sincerely hope there's a huge Fix-It rebound for Farm.
