Can’t seem to get princess revenge on Xia Jingshi!?! Since the start, he had already told her he can’t give the love that she wants. Not only once, but many times. How can the situation she is she right now be his fault? How can her father's and brothers' death is his fault? I think the writer wanted character development in her, and that’s why the plot is moving towards her revenge towards him, which is questionable. Also, him being her enemy is a little stretched. The princess looks like a totally different character now. ps: i'm not writing this because i have sympathy for his character, just can't get it.
will it get better in the end? im trying to catch up with the latest eps.. still way too far :( currently on eps…
if you mean, it will get better than the initial episodes. if you find them to be not too good, then I don’t think you will love the remaining episode as well because the episodes have been consistent. But I would say when he starts with his revenge plan, firstly, for his mother and in the later half of the series as well- it’s very interesting and tension is built throughtout the episodes. But if you mean that just like in many series by the second half, the episodes quality gets downhill. Then for this one it doesn’t, it’s going strong, and I am really loving it.
Hii! So I can't deal with the episode waiting for Love in the Clouds (my heart hurts too much waiting) T_T so…
1. yes she is. in my opinion she tops the category of strong tag. 2. It’s not like a typical drama where after halfway through the series, she regain her memory all together. By the second episode, she regains some, and throughout the first half of the series, she is regaining bit by bit of her memories as the plot progresses. And this doesn’t change her skill or her as a person. Just watch first episode, and you will be hooked. 3. I think in between ep 16-20, can’t remember the exact. For me, it didn’t get boring. The chemistry is off the charts and I really like them as a couple. Also, after they got together, a lot of things were happening so not boring per se. 4. No. 5. Yes there is, just watch episode one, and you will get it. They are the literal definition of enemies to lover. And the story is quite consistent as well as the character. They are both strong and the process of them falling in love was not sudden, but it was gradually developing throughout the series. I hope this answer your questions. And I hope that you give it a try. Just watch the first two episodes, and you will love it.
As of ep 25, all of them are in their own world. Zhuang’s son's actions show treason, tho he may not have the intention, but how can he say that the emperor killed him? Isn’t this twisting the facts? Murong's plan for revenge is still understandable, but isn't he taking it out on the wrong person? Suige was still a kid at that time. They all feel twisted to me, esp the emperor - the biggest one, followed by the empress and his father. In the whole royal family, only Suige and Chengyang look normal. The sister is obsessed with a man whom she met barely once and is now risking everything and humiliating herself even tho that man doesn’t care about her. Hope that slap in ep 25 is a wake up call for her and she starts to live for herself and stop being foolish.
Which main character? If you're referring to the female lead, then you've completely misjudged her like how her…
Yes, it changes a lot specially after episode 10– 12. In the initial episodes, their romance felt quite awkward and unnatural. But in the later episodes, when everything has been laid out and they can be there true self, I started to like it. So maybe wait till their divorce era, which happens around episode 13 or 14.
Couldn’t wait for it to finish so I watched the first three eps, and they were perfect. From acting to costumes to the beautiful set. The chemistry is also quite good, specially the moment where she lashes him 47 times and the way he is looking at her lol.
