A lot of people are shocked about how Episode 11 took such a turn. But honestly, wasn’t this what we were expecting all along? From the very beginning, it wasn’t just about her cooking or the romance, it was also tied to his throne. We knew it would come down to either him turning into a tyrant who kills his family, or Prince Jesan scheming to dethrone him by any means. So for me, Episode 11 wasn’t really shocking, I could see it coming.
why are people saying she shouldn’t change history? she loves him and doesn’t want him to kill his own family members. what’s wrong with that? she’s trying to make him a better person. i don’t find anything wrong with it. at the same time, some are saying that why she isn’t telling the king that people are working against him. how can she? does she has a proof? does she know exactly who? no. she may know the major events that took place during his reign but it’s not a guarantee that she will know who is scheming against him. even if she does, then proving it would be difficult. King knows consort kang was behind the scheming but couldn’t do anything about it because he doesn’t have evidence.
Why did they have to kill Chen Zhou and Shi Rong? I really liked how episodes 38 and 39 focused on them, but I couldn't stop crying. Why did he drink the poisoned wine without hesitation? Even with less screen time, I became so attached to them. I love them so much and would really like to see them again, maybe in a prequel or some other drama?
The whole time while watching the movie, my only thought was what are the writers trying to convey. There is a struggle for power between the two friends, more likely it is one-sided, but still, there wasn’t much of thriller to it, and it felt shallow. The only pros about this movie is the action scene and the acting. These two things made me watch the whole movie, though it would have been appreciated if there was more action scenes and less talking. I have been a fan of FL, but I really liked ML’s acting and the way he portrayed his character. Also loved the fighting scene with old man. Also, did FL liked ML?
I think he use the AI tool and because of that a lot of story change, so probably that’s why there is some inconsistency…
right. even after knowing the truth, he had some prejudice towards him. I think it’s because of his low self-esteem and he doesn’t want anyone to be challenge him, he wants to be at the top, in this case, being the sect leader.
