Are the subtitles for the last five episodes going to be updated with genuine ones, or will they stay AI-generated? If no proper subs are coming, I’ll just watch the final episode now.
Do you want recommendations for ongoing drama or just some casual?
Some recent ones, that i watched: Blossom (Chinese) Will love in spring Some that i could currently think of: Blood free (Korean) The hymn of death Mr. Plankton New life begins (Chinese) Till the end of the moon Gen Z Fake it till you make it (haven’t watched this one, but I’ve heard it’s nice) They all are well written and executed quite nicely.
It's a bit similar to the novel where novel-Mudan did like novel-JCY, but couldn't allow herself to jump head…
I know their interactions are more than just business partners. That’s why when mudan asked them to be friends, JCY stated they have long been friends. Considering it’s a historical drama, they are quite touchy as well. I never meant to question their relation. It’s just that, as I already stated, if romance is there in the last few episodes like marriage, then I will find it a bit fast, considering how slow burn their romance is.
Given all the trials and tribulations she's been through since episode 1, and being close to death several times,…
Yes, I’m fully aware of this, and that’s why I wrote if they incorporate romance in this season, then it will be abrupt for me. Like you have stated, she wants to expand her business, and her sole focus is financial freedom. she’s thinking about survival right now. So romance is like nowhere near.

From your perspective, it makes a little sense. I haven’t read the novel, but from the series, their interactions are 80% about business. I hope this changes soon. Because if we see them interacting more freely with each other other than talking about business, then I think it will be quite easy to accept the relationship. Otherwise, personally for me, it will feel a bit abrupt.
I like their friendship, and I can see that JCY is slowly developing feelings for MuDan, especially with his small signs of jealousy. However, I don’t feel the same energy from MuDan; it seems like she only sees him as a friend. If they incorporate romance in the last few episodes, I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
honestly don’t get why people are mainly hating shengyi like sure she leaked mudan’s secret (which would’ve…
The difference is trust. When someone you see as a sister reveals your secret, it feels like a betrayal because you trusted them. If an enemy does it, it hurts, but isn’t surprising since you never relied on them.
Yep, me too. And I also find it fascinating in a way, that all hate and anger in most of comments go straight…
you can’t accept anything from liu Chang. He is coward by nature and didn’t even treat mudan correctly from the beginning. mudan clearly knows that he won’t defy his parents and would never take a stand for himself. In a sense, he’s completely opposite of her. i’m not saying he doesn’t deserve any hate. But then again, he’s just a coward who just says and don’t take any action. But shengyi, they were like sisters. They both trusted each other. They both treated each other nicely esp mudan. Even though she may seem like a victim, but no one forced her to take those decisions or to tell mudan’s secret. she did it on her own call. I’m not particularly hating her. here’s what i honestly think: https://mydramalist.com/749763-flourished-peony#comment-20349814
Okay so we might get 2-3 episodes of MuDan with her revenge. I wonder if Part 1 will end will marriage and then…
i think part 1 will end with marriage and part 2 will be about their married life, particularly on JCY because he is also plotting something with the emperor.
I know that Shengyi was manipulated and lied to, and I understand her feelings of low self-esteem and insecurity, which may have driven her to seek marriage as a means of feeling secure. However, these factors do not justify what she did. Her actions were deeply wrong. Mudan entrusted her with a personal secret, and Shengyi casually shared it with him, disregarding that trust. Even if he chooses not to weaponize that secret, it still represents a betrayal.
Shengyi perceives herself as a victim, but she is not. The consequences she faces are a result of her own choices. She was not meeting him for the first time; she had already endured significant harm at his hands. How could she trust someone who has hurt her so profoundly? Has she forgotten how it hurts now that she has seemingly healed?
I sincerely hope Mudan doesn’t simply forgive her and continue to be by her side. If she does, it would be a significant disappointment for me. While it’s okay to be empathetic and soft-hearted, Mudan has the right to uphold her boundaries and reject harmful actions. If she chooses to forgive Shengyi for her own peace of mind, I just hope that it means severing ties with her in the future. Trust is fragile, and it should not be taken lightly.
