I wasn’t ready for the ending. It was the first time i cried while watching this drama. I really don’t know what to say. It’s the first time i have watched a drama that has this kinda ending. Ahh~ I feel sad, annoyed and what not. It’s quite confusing and frustrating. But i loved this drama. I thought the last few episodes would be not so good but i really liked it. I wish we had gotten more romantic scenes between the two leads.

i agree. she is the main lead and Xukai and Yangzi felt like support character's who helped her character to grow (from annoying to less annoying).

as an Asian, I can say that parents play an important part in their children's life until they die. I have a joint family and my father still discusses with my grandpa about some important things. he takes his opinion but at the same time, those opinions are non-binding. it's my father's wish to accept them or not. though we are a family still we have our personal life, not like in this drama where the mother is controlling her life (her being 30).
also, I'm 20 and I still need my parent's permission to go somewhere. my parents guide me when I make some decisions, which are of course binding in nature lol. I have to do what they tell me. I have to obey them and be a puppet. but after you settle down financially, parents start to let you live your own life. they became less interfering tho still, if you make some big decisions, you have to consult them or at least tell them.

however, as I said this is about my family. there are different kinds of families.
for instance, my friend, his parents don't meddle in his life. he doesn't have to ask for their opinion and can live his life the way he wants to without his parents' interference.

the last 3 episodes were a letdown. they felt draggy. suddenly the mom had some disease and she ran away.

i wish we could have gotten a few more scenes of fl and ml, like they going on a date or something. whenever they interacted it was mostly talking about family problems or something on that line. it made me rethink after watching the whole series, that the mother should have been tagged as the main lead, not Yangzi and Xukai. from the start to end the main focus of the drama was mother.
and the biggest disappointment was fl and ml not getting married or at least we could have gotten a proposal.

After knowing most of the things about ML past. Basically, his back story. I just think that his grandmother‘s character is kind of flawed and dishonest. ML is a definition of self achievement, from rags to riches. She’s always about family, even she made her hotel staff, her family, but what about ML? I feel that it was totally her biased opinion and she just like FL more than the ML. That’s why she gave the hotel to her as, well as she knew that FL will continue her legacy of showcasing hotel as an epitome of familiness.

however, I feel happy for ML. He has finally found his home and where his heart belongs to. Honestly, he seems more like a house husband typa person and not a business man lol. And now I am really loving mother. She finally has a character development guys. I’m very happy. Everything is going perfectly with this series.

Lastly, xu kai is so cute. I am literally falling for him. His acting is so good, especially when he is acting cute and when he makes those facial expressions.

I am loving it. The chemistry between the leads is great. The supporting actors are also good. However, the Mom has been a bit annoying, but in today’s episode, that is 30, we can see a lot of character development in her. I think it’s worth watching.though at starting, just like everyone, felt annoyed and wanted to drop this drama because of Mom, but I think it’s worth the time cause we can clearly see some character development in her and other than that it’s awesome. It’s wonderful.

We can finally see some character development in fl mom.

Well i got your point. But then again, it’s the parents fault that they didn’t tell their children the struggle they have been, and then later on when the children grow up, they want them to understand their parents, to respect them, to think that all they do is for their own good. If from the starting itself, bit by bit, tell your children that you have been through this, you have been through that they will try to understand you more deeply, and you will have a more strong connection with them. in the last episode, her mother told fl that how her grandpa treated her if she would have told her this already, then fl would try to understand that why she is so protective towards her.
Parents just want their children to understand them, but they don’t want to give them a reason.

But MCH is 30 years old. She is an adult, and she also needs some personal time, but her mother invades her privacy every time. personally, I don’t think that MCH said anything wrong to her mother. Parents are not always right and sometime they should learn from their children and try to accept their mistake and say sorry. Even if they try to do things with good intentions, but it leads to bad outcomes.

One of the living example is me. my parents do things with good intentions for me, but they don’t try to think from my perspective. Now it has affected me to the point that I have frequent panic attacks and have been not so good mentally since past few years.
