i agree with you. In the letter to ml, Grandma states that she is not biased but in reality, she is and no one can deny that. ml has been left alone almost all his life, if grandma loved him or cared for him then she could have brought him to China with her after his mother died. but she didn't.

she states that ml is driven by profits, and money. come on who isn't? Everyone has to survive in this world. ml has seen poverty during his childhood days and he worked hard not to have that life.
it's the grandma who helps fl both financially and emotionally during her tough times, that's why she can play all being righteous. ml had no one so he will try to do anything to survive.

also, regarding the inheritance, the house belongs to Grandma's husband (maybe she got it after the divorce settlement). so in reality it belongs to ml only. in the end, if we see from a broader view, he doesn't get anything. Everything goes to fl and her family.

yes, for instance, the marriage. fl father told her that her mother does things with "good intentions" but the outcomes turn bad. I can't see good intentions here. also, when the guys came to renovate the home, she shouted at them and talked harshly to them and later fl father didn't tell her to correct her. As I have already stated, it's more like they don't want to talk to her about these things because she will bicker, they will fight and all. it indirectly implies they don't want to be responsible.

The mother wants the hotel as well as the old house which belongs to ml. If greed has a face, it would be her honestly.
At this point, I don’t think it’s mother’s fault at all. It’s the fault of her husband, and then her children for not correcting her and not pointing out her mistake and her greed. But there are people who will rate this drama low Because of fl Mother. Personally, I was going to drop this drama after watching the first two episodes, but I thought let me give it another try and I’m loving it so far. If I would have dropped it, then I would have given it a low rating.

I think it could be because there are people who don’t give a rating unless the drama is fully finished. Also, there are many people including me who doesn’t like FL mother and her bickering and her personality and overall everything. So maybe this has affected the rating.

Please, I really want character development of FL’s mom. She is literally so greedy and pessimistic and hella loud.
Firstly, she wasn’t ready to accept FL relationship with her ex-boyfriend, but later, when she got to know about him being rich, she was already to accept him just because of the money. She says she loves her, but in reality, what is she doing? She didn’t even tell her daughter that she has prepared the engagement and all.Does she really loves her or is she just after the money? if someone gives an excuse that she’s just doing for her daughter with good intentions, for her future and blah blah blah, I won’t believe that cause she literally made a joke of her.
And during the recent episode, she just gladly accept the house of grandmother. I mean, she never visited her, never did anything towards her. Also, she proposes that the grandmother should stay with them because she wants her daughter to be back home. I mean she is so selfish.
Also, she’s just portraying herself as a victim. She did everything wrong, and she should be the one to say sorry to her and tell her that she won’t do it ever again and will try to respect her choice. Man she is 30. She’s an adult. She can’t just be your, 10 year old daughter, who will obey whatever you say, she can’t be a doll.
I really can’t see any of her qualities in her children’s. I think they both have their fathers. Also, glad that the father is understanding otherwise, it would have been an utter mess.
