Ok so from episode 11 the ML finally gets his pov n ss. But by episode 14 the show has become boring. The novel was much more better I can say. Idk maybe I will watch 1-2 episodes more if this one starts holding my interest. It's very mediocre adaptation.

M i talking about jst romance? Pls i have read the novel. So i knew what to expect n what not to expect frm this drama. Also I have seen other fl centric coming of age romance cdramas too. Bt they never did this much injustice with ML by giving him 2 min or lesser ss in each episode. Last drama where ML n his pov was ignored was the best choice ever, that was also not jst romance drama bt family drama bt his ss wasnt this much less.

On episode 8, n still the ML have the least ss😭 what kind of drama is this where u don't give any ss to the ML! I m not even a fan of ZLH, but it's such a huge disrespect to him! Even in TPR he was given less ss than that 3rd angle stupid, but it wasn't this much less! No wonder this drama got downvoted! His fans must have been pissed off n rightfully so! In novel JQX wasn't ignored so much like in this drama. U don't make a female centric romantic drama n ignore the ML🌚

Started this becos i know now that my liking dramas is nowadays inversely proportional to MDLers. Whatever I liked have low ratings n overhyped dramas here I have dropped them. On episode 5, till now ZLH has bare minimum presence and their childhood story wasnt shown properly so can't connect why they r so special for each other unlike in novel it was very deeply explained n u can understand y they were each other's special. Except these 2 points it's good n i feel I will watch it till end n love it.

No this is done in Indian shows n movies too. Some Actors/actresses will gain weight, muscles, etc for certain roles becos they r that dedicated to their art n here we don't judge them for gaining weight infact applause them for their dedication. Even for web series actors do that here. So it's not asian culture u can say. Only chinese or maybe asian culture other than india. That's y I feel it odd maybe.

Cdrama culture is very toxic then.

General thought/opinion: why in Chinese actors/actresses gaining weight for playing a ckt which requires to look tough n sturdy a foreign concept n a taboo like? Can't they reduce weight later or are scared people will like them less if they gain weight required for certain roles? They lose weight happily but gaining weight essential for playing certain roles is where they draw the line! Why they live such insecure life? As an artist they should overcome these stupid fears n taboos.

Started watching this! But the 1st episode the FL herself making it unbearable to continue watching this! Is she suffering from Peter Pan syndrome? Why is she acting like a mentally challenged girl? The kid version of hers look normal, so why the elder one is acting like one? I like reba so wanted to watch this one. But the characterization is making me put off.

Maybe unpopular opinion but though I liked the show, i didn't like the romance n romantic storyline or the chemistry between the leads. I felt in this type of investigation dramas the romance should come secondary, like in STOTD. I wasn't a fan of the ship. I liked them as individual ckts though. But not together. So to me the romantic scenes n story looked misplaced n I wasn't interested in those scenes.

Oh I forgot to say, I totally loved 1-2 osts of this drama so much! N the one landi sang was short but so nice too🤌

Just finished watching! And OMG what a banger twist and banger ending! The last few episodes were just soo good! It was definitely one of the best crime/investigation cdrama i watched! And Li landi she jst keeps me impressing! I can't express how much she awed me with her poised n accurate representation of a person who is smart intellectual medical fairy as well as a coroner, her body language was just so good as the profession she had in the drama, though I feel the dressing as coroner was inappropriate, but as it's a show n she was a female lead who should look pretty, they dressed her so lavishly. Anyways this show was really good n deserves a 9/10 rating.

I watched the tailors case n that prince of beidu or something. Bt they were so short n not interesting enough like the earlier ones.

After they entered the capital the show became more about palace politics which I hate😭 and less about different case solvings. Will there be no cases now n jst shen wan trying to clear her father's name?

Currently watching this, i m on ep 8th, I m enjoying this, it's very intriguing though the story looks too fast paced that I m sometimes confused, so many faces look the same n there r too many ckts randomly introduced that I feel who is who! 😅it's I guess direction fault! But nonetheless the plot is my fav genre i.e mystery+investigation of different crimes. So I m hooked.

Actually no one was good enough for her in the drama🤣 she was good being the intelligent sensible single woman. Maybe if CGH wasn't plain cruel n obsessed with blaming n killing NH, then I would have loved her with him.

I have read the novel but it seems the drama hasn't lived upto the initial hype of this novel n pair seeing the low rating here! 🤔 I liked the novel, not very much but it was good enough, but it seems the drama ain't?

Finally after so many days I completed watching this😭🤣. But I loved watching it whenever I got free time and didn't feel bored. It was intriguing till the end. It was unpredictable and that's wat I love in any drama, i dislike predictable cliche dramas n drop them like hot potato even if they r loved by the whole world! And there was such a happy and satisfying ending to it too! No one died too that's the best thing for me here😭 so even though like everyone else I didn't like FL for half the episodes but the show was above the cliche plot of only lovers finding their way to each other found in every other cdrama! I think I don't resonate with Mdlers nowadays, the dramas they rate high endup disappointing me n the one they rate low, i love them😭
Anyways, apart from ML, FL, there were so many ckts to love in this one. I specially loved song yiting ckt, what a woman! Jst that I didn't like her choice of man😹 in this show I didn't find any really shippable couple but nonetheless it kept me so intrigued till the end becos the plot was the hero of this drama! So a solid 9/10 rating from me! 🤌 I may rewatch this drama in the near future when i really miss it!

Poor kid nan heng! Felt so bad for him when even as kid his father showed bias towards Rui n not jst that, even went on to show disgust at the kills nan heng brought. While praising CGH, condemning NH for the same. I thought till now the king might have got wary of grown up NH seeing his power n ways but now seeing he always condemned him even as kid jst becos of his powerful maternal family, i jst hate that king😡
